  • Time to order supplements...

It's about time to order supplements again- I take a daily multi, fish oil, probiotics. Anything else ya think I should order while I'm at it? Might as well make use of flat-rate shipping and get everything I might need in one shot.

    Edit: And vitamin D

If you have issues with inflammation then turmeric is good. I also take milk thistle.

Are there any areas of your health you are not satisfied with?

Personally, I sleep and feel MUCH better with daily Mg oil.

Also - do you know your Vit D status? Most of us can use more D3 than is found in a multi. I love the D3 that comes in olive oil.

Magnesium seems to be a common suggestion. I also like my BCAAs for fasted training.

          Def. Magnesium Citrate.

I don't take probiotics anymore--I figure that I have "seeded" my gut and as long as I eat fermented foods occasionally and stay away from antiobiotics, the good bacteria will reproduce themselves!

I haven't tried this yet myself but just ordered it. I get terrible, terrible cramps and pain at that 'time of month', a cowroker suggested Dong Quai. She says it is the only thing that helps her pain. I guess I will find out all too soon!

Tumeric is good for inflammation? I eat a ton of it- usually in mustard- lol.

I've been considering magnesium as my sleep isn't always the best probably don't get nearly enough in my diet. Of the choices from my supplement company, the most economical seems to be Magnesium Malate. Is this as good as Citrate?

mabye some k2 would be good. Its hard to get in the diet unless your eating natto (yuck) grass fed meats and dairy fat.

Somebody correct me, but I think this is CW, not required under primal.

My Calcium and K2 should be OK. I eat only pastured beef and pork, and soon only pastured chickens.

I have/had thyroid (and possible adrenal) issues, so in general I would just like to get my metabolism on a correct track for weight loss.

Since you mentioned that, I'll link to my supplement list I get from my dr. I'm hypothyroid, adrenal fatigue, and had CFS. The supplements were to support a VLC diet, improve insulin sensitivity, and get adrenals going again...
