        Update! Mission Accomplished!

Though I don't know if it was

        1.gastric movement from overeating

        2.fiber from almonds

3.increased fat from pork scratchlings or

        4.epsom salts that did it.

I'm still scheduled for a doctor's appointment next week though, complete blood panels and x-ray.

I am upping the fat intake from now on

Well, how much did you end up dropping? More marbles?

Don't let it go this long again! Bm's are VERY important!

It was smaller than expected, but way denser than my pre-PB days.

I'll try supplementing with fat. My 28-day averages are:

                cal: 1388

                protein: 216g

                carbs: 2g

                fat: 57g

PS. I use the program "cron-o-meter", insanely useful

@ecala I tried probiotics before, but when I paused abit I found bms getting more infrequent...

Glad to hear that everything came out OK.....er.....

Look, this isn't a matter of tweaking, or upping oil or probiotics. Something was - I hope it's past tense - very wrong. None of us are doctors, as much as we like to think we know it all. (Not that doctors do, either.)

Regardless of diet, whether high or low in any macronutrient, the normal range for BM's is several times per day (high fiber does this) to every two or even three days (no fiber.) Your experience is obviously well outside this range. Your experience is not a "tweak" to be fixed.

I've just been trying something from Lyle McD ~ psmf?

It was definitely the lack of fat. A quarter stick of butter this morning did the trick again

                      Oddly though, no hunger...

Even on Lyle`s psmf he advocates that you eat lots of green leafy vegetables. At 2 carbs a day you are not eating any vegetables. Reread the handbook and make sure you eat your greens!

Even still though I have been doing the psmf and have a BM about a third of the amount I used too.

                        Don't be a paleotard...

You might be confusing "lack of fat" with fat's stool softening effect. Lots of people eat very low fat diets (fools!) and have regular BM's.

In other words, fat may have fixed the symptom, but it is not the cure.

my best advice and it works for me. eat sauerkraut after every meal, it will help with digestion and clear you out. try and find some with sea salt instead of regular table salt...

HE NEEDS TO SEE A DOCTOR! Enough of home remedies and salt types, probiotics, fat quantities, and other often illogical finger in the wind suggestions.

The only reason to not see a doctor would be if this episode passes. Pun intended.
