How do you store them? In the fridge?

I bought Now Foods D3. It contains olive oil as part of the non medicinal ingredients. I was thinking they will store better.

You can. I just keep mine on the counter.

I store them in a cabinet with the rest of my supplements. Some of them are in glass jars so I prefer to keep them in a dark place.

Ditto. I put mine in a solid bottle just in case, but they are in the cabinet in the dark anyway.

If they contain olive oil you should keep them in a cabinet or something covered instead of out on the counter where sun can hit it. If sun hits olive oil (for most other oils as well) it can cause oxidation and render it rancid. It does not have to be refrigerated, but it should be covered.

People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.

+1 I think the opaque bottle mine comes in works pretty well--and don't most vitamins come in opaque or dark bottles, these days?

It comes in a bottle that the light can get through.

                Refrigeration shouldn't hurt it?

Fortunately, I have a darkish kitchen.

No. When I used vegetable oils, I used to refrigerate them to avoid rancidity.

The gel caps will keep out oxygen, which is the main problem, besides heat/light.

Most of mine are opaque. I have a couple things that have dark brown glass. That helps protect some but not completely. Since I prefer to keep them all in one place for convenience's sake, they all go in the cupboard.

If I put mine in the cupboard, I would forget to take them, lol! Out of sight, out of mind...

I load up one of those seven-day pill boxes otherwise I do, too. I'm a bit of a clutter Nazi, especially when it comes to my kitchen. I tend not to have much on my counters since I like having them clear when I cook. I only have my carbonator, towel holder and kettle out. Everything else gets stowed away or I get cranky.

Opps I meant that the light CAN'T get through. I should proofread more!

I just heard from NOW and this is they're recommendation:

85F or cooler is recommended. Refrigeration is great but not required.

                            Thank you for your inquiry,
