Has anyone tried this protein powder Mark made? Is it any good?

Too expensive, IMO. That's the only thing holding me back from trying it.

I have and I liked the taste of the vanilla more than the chocolate. I also learned that one of the ingredients (the powdered coconut I think) doesn't agree with me. It would be a great dessert or treat once in a while if you can handle it.

Eh. If I'm going to have a "treat", it will be something better than a protein shake. I like the idea of a meal replacement -- I miss having something that's really easy to drink on the run.

I mix up my own protein shakes when I want one. I use whey, an egg or two, some milk, a splash of vanilla, and a little stevia sometimes. I generally won't just drink a meal though. I'll have some homemade beef jerky or something so I get something solid along with it. I'm not a fan of all liquid meals. Homemade beef jerky is an awesome on the go meal.

I was not impressed with the flavor. It seems to rely more on sweetener than, y'know, flavor.

It's pretty good. I only just started getting it, so I'll have to wait a month or two to see if I eat it often enough to warrant keeping it.
I do enjoy it, but it's not something I crave. I usually fast through breakfast, but sometimes I'm really hungry and want something fast.
It's handy to have a sweet something to snack on that you can prepare quickly.

I want to try it, but it’s whey (LOL) overpriced. Then again, so are many of the other protein powders on the market these days. I drink Body Fortress whey protein when I want a shake- it’s only $15 for a 2 lb container and available at most local grocery, drug, and health food stores, and it has impressive protein/vitamin/mineral/bcaa content.
But as another poster mentioned I don’t drink it as a standalone meal- I eat something with it.

It fits my lifestyle. I work 60 hrs a week and don't want to get up at 4:30 and cook eggs. I also drive all day and rarely have time for a lunch break. I use it as a meal replacement for breakfast and lunch and as the picture shows I don't need to skip lunch. I Lost 11 pounds my first 8 days on the stuff and didn't get hungry at all between meals.

Now for the bad news. I knew going in that this stuff was expensive, but I figured at 30 servings per container it was still cheaper than a drive-thru McMuffin breakfast and Royal with Cheese lunch. Problem is I only got 16 - 2 scoop servings out of my container. I emailed customer service and still haven't received a reply of any kind. I called customer service on Wednesday and was told they would try and send me another container but have not received it or any kind of shipping confirmation yet.

Love the product but frankly, I'm a bit disappointed in the service. Going to GNC today to look for an alternative.

I like shakeology. It`s not completely Primal I don`t think though. It is nutritious though. It is also pricey if you think of the total cost but if you think of it as a meal replacement it factors in at about 4 bucks a meal. If you want more info go to www.shakeology.com/fatbusters

Do you mix the Primal Fuell with anything or just water? Let us know if you find a suitable alternative.

Kelly I just put in two scoops and fill the shaker up to the tip of Grok's spear with water. I drink it down immediately then mix another one and throw it my lunch cooler. I notice for lunch about 5-6 hours later, the shake is much thicker than the one I made for breakfast. Taste is OK for this type of thing and again I have experienced no hunger pangs or cravings during the day.

And here's some good news, my new container of Primal Fuel arrived this afternoon via priority mail free of charge! I called on Wed. and it shipped Thursday.

The bad news is I opened the container and noticed the paper seal on top of the container was only partially stuck on. I seem to remember this on the last container as well but can't say for sure. Worse yet I decided to measure the new container and only got 49 scoops. The product copy claims 60.

Like I say I really like the product, but I've received two containers so far and the first one had 32 scoops and this second container has 49 that's pretty darn inconsistent packaging and puts a dent in my trust of the product. I really don't enjoy posting this on Mark's forum but it's the truth.

I had PF with coconut milk, crushed ice and frozen bananas at the Reno PAST. I had a cup of vanilla and a cup of chocolate and it was really filling and super delicious. Vanilla is better IMO.

I woud imagine Mark would want to know about it so he can fix the issue. Whatever company packages it for him isn't giving him his money's worth either, not to mention putting his product in a bad light...

At first I liked it (Dark Chocolate), then didn't like, now I like it again. Can't explain but I need to have it ice-cold, so I blend it with ice cubes.
