  • new here (hello) is this allowed?

i am anxiously awaiting my book in the mail but i wanted to know if the following was allowed.
everyone is talking about avocado chocolate pudding and i like to have a spoonful of it as a little snack it has:
avocado, banana, raw almond butter, unsweetened cocoa and vanilla extract.
is that ok? how much would the right serving be?

What are your goals? How much of each ingredient? It sounds yummy.

It's totally fine. A small amount here and there won't hurt unless you have a lot of weight to lose.

The ingredients are all primal-friendly, but whether you should eat it (and how much you should eat) are going to be dependent on your goals and lifestyle, as well as how sensitive you are to carbs.

Enjoy! This is NOT a diet. (Although it's probably not prudent to dive head-first into a vat of the stuff.)

3 weeks before my wedding i lost 10 pounds by avoiding all grains and sugar but cheating a little on the weekends. since then i lost all motivation and the occasional piece of ezekiel toast became all kinds of problems and i gained 15 pounds!!!!
anyway i'd like to lose 30 pounds. (the weight i was when i got together with my husband - 130) whenever i want to lose weight the only way i can is by cutting out grains.
it's one avocado, one banana and about 3-4 tbsp of the almond butter.
it makes a small little tupperware of chocolatey goodness. and if i'm really hungry between meals i like having a tbsp.
but i know it may get in the way of losing weight.......

If you are really hungry between meals I would suggest eating more at meals. That said, a 1 tbsp snack should not derail your weightloss too much. Assuming of course it is not a 1 tbsp snack 12 times a day

ok, i think i can handle that... thank you so much everyone - i can't wait for my book already.
i realize now after 3 times losing weight by avoiding grains and gaining it back that i finally understand what my body can and can't handle.
                i can't believe i am here - AGAIN!

I made a pecan meal pie crust, threw on top the avocado mixed w/ cacao powder and honey (and splash of vanilla), then topped that with coconut whipped cream.... primal choco cream pie- delicious!
Yes, it depends on what your goals are... myself personally, I like the desserts now and then!
