  • Diet look ok?

    Hey all,

I feel great, have energy, and I'm losing weight. However, considering I am doing this to be healthy and to treat my body right I just want to make sure my body is getting everything it needs. Here's a look at a usual day.

Breakfast: 2 or 3 eggs, kale, mushrooms, cauliflower, 2tbsp coconut oil, 1/2 small avocado
Lunch: 1cup meat, 1tbsp olive oil, 2cup spinach, 1/2 small avocado
Dinner: a little veggie of some sort maybe carrots or eggplant, 3ounces pork sometimes chicken, 1tbsp coconut oil

I usually eat breakfast at 8am and stop eating by 5 or so, because I'm just not hungry. If I do get hungry I'll have a tbsp of coconut oil. I also have the occasional class of wine maybe once a week.

Totaling about 1300-1500 calories, 100-120g fat, 17-30g carb, 75g protein. I also take fish oil, vit d, calcium. I walk 4-5 hours a week, 5 essential movements once a week, yoga once a week, and heavy lifting once a week.

    I'm 5'6" weigh 132.

    Thanks for any advice!

Looks lovely. I doubt you need the calcium though... I'd supp magnesium instead. Calcium needs are lower when grains are absent from the diet (since the grains are not interfering with absorption). I'll look up some references

Because it made you forgetful . . . or nightshade problems perhaps?

I feel great! I think it's still hard for me to believe I can eat a lot less than I used to and rarely get hungry. I don't miss the extreme hunger ever 3 hours!

A great big AMEN to that! It's really an eye opener how much refined carbs stimulate appetite isn't it?

                      Cause real eggs taste better!

If things are working and you are getting results, why mess that up. If it ain't broke...

                      Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback! I feel good about it, just wanted to make sure I'm on track. I can't believe how easy this is!!! I think it is funny when I tell people what i eat and they think not only am I crazy but it's a lot of work. Actually, I spend WAY less time thinking about food. Ah life is good
