  • quick question about meat

    Hey guys,

Just to clarify. Am I supposed to be choosing fattier cuts of meat? Or leaner ones? I read The Primal Blueprint and I recall reading something about trimming the fat off meat. I cannot remember if this only pertains to animals which have not been grassfed/finished, or all. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    M

if the meat is grass fed/grass finished/pastured then go ahead and eat whatever. if the meat is more convention, going with leaner options or trimming the fat will be good idea just because the bad stuff those animals were eating is stored in the fat

If you want a different perspective on the issue, I'll suggest you read the following:

Getting organic/100% grassfed meats is optimum for health, but not necessary. Do what you can. Eat Whole Foods (eggs, meats, vegetables, fruits, and nuts) , dissed sugar/grains/processed foods, and when ready, implement Intermittent Fasting. You will be on your way to better health.
