  • Edible Raw Animal Fats

Does anyone have any suggestions on the most cleanest animal fat sources? I might go to the grocery store, buy a small amount, and take a small bite, and see if it works for me.

It's been 2 years since I've eaten Animal foods, but that was cooked, barbeque sauce, sugar infested, animal food.

Raw animal food should be different.

This guy was a raw vegan, but he said, his body started breaking down.

But give me a suggestion, and I'll taste some of it. But only recommend it, if you eat it raw on a habitual basis.

How about ordering sashimi at a good sushi restaurant? Something fatty and high quality, wild sockeye salmon?

Just an idea. It was the first animal meat I ate after 10 years vegetarian, and it was easily digested and very filling.

    Good luck to you.

ETA: it also can be small portions, in case you don't like it, you're not stuck with a fridge full of it

Here's what you can do Jackie. Order up some grass fed beef, trim the fat, eat it then send me the lean meat so that I can put it to better use. This way we both win!

        Wow, Thanks, Jen.

Wild Sockeye Salmon, I got a healthfood store right next to me, and I might just go and try that.

        That's gonna be scary, lol.

What is it scary for you after 10 years? and was it raw? and what made you do it?

Also I hope you realize you can eat meat without BBQ sauce.

you might considered dried meats too -- biltong and jerky made traditionally, in addition to raw eggs (yes, people eat them raw), raw dairy (yes, people eat that raw), and things like raw fish, oysters, and what not. you might also do seveche (sp?) which is where the fish is "cooked" by the lime juice. good times.

No you can't - must be smothered in sugar-laden sauce on a soft white bread roll, some fries and a sugary soda!

Oh, man, Raw Eggs, you have no fricken' idea... of how much of an idea, i have about raw eggs. When i was a bodybuilder, 3 years ago, my friend and i would be driving on the road and I would eat like 12 raw eggs on the road, like nothin' while we were driving. My friend thought i was a lunatic, which i I was, then he had 1, and was like ohh, not too bad. ahh, fucking crazy back then, don't even remind me! haHaHa.

Oh, and i had raw oysters 2 years ago, man do those things, make me wanna screw some chick, uncontrollably, so bad. It was fricken' ridiculous! haHaHa.

As for the oysters, that's the Zinc that does that my friend. Next time eat them when you have someone to share the urge with

Look up aajonus vonderplonitz. He eats all raw everything and is quite a guru on it.

Ceviche, steak Tartare, beef carpaccio, eggnog, kibbeh, mayonnaise, sushi, sashimi... we actually have a long history of raw animal products, even recently. But the SOURCE is crucial. Processing and sick animals cause the problem just as with spinach and peanuts. Know your source before you eat raw.

Btw raw butter is TDF. Raw whipped cream is even better.

Lol, it was scary for me. Mostly, I was afraid of getting sick in the restaurant. Yes, the salmon was raw. Texture was odd at first, but not bad at all

Multiple cumulative health issues caused me to try meat again.

Mamagrok has some great advice... Ceviche is good stuff!

It's kind of wasteful, but what about raw egg yolks? I bet you could even find some egg white omelet-eating elliptical-addict to give the rest to.

Raw butter? Hard to come by probably, but if you can source it, I don't see why not. Unless you're avoiding casein.
