  • Blueberries diruetic?

I recently posted a question about what food I could keep close at hand at night that didn't need refrigeration to take some pain meds with. I used (before PB) to use bread or crackers. The ideas I got back were good. Blueberries is what I settled on and they work fine. However, I've noticed that I go potty more now than I used to. I usually only take them around 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. Seldom during the day. Could blueberries be a diruetic?

Scratch blueberries. Checked strawberries on the link you offered. They're out too. Any thoughts on what could sit on the nightstand and not be refrigerated overnight? Thanks for the info.

Are you sure its the Blueberries and not the medication making you "go" more?

And if so, why not eat some nuts? No refrigeration necessary and they are "hand food"...

I have tried almonds. I wonder if chewed up nuts would make enough of a cushion for the meds.

            how about almond butter?

That is what I have to put on the dogs meds. LOL. Otherwise she spits them out.

What about: Nuts, beef jerky, primal crackers (recipe i use is almond flour, EVOO, and an egg) or bread (the coconut flax recipe seems good), homemade primal energy bars or lara bars, dried apricots/dates, coconut chips, kale (or other veg) chips....

I am interested in the Primal bread. Maybe something I could make a batch of and freeze. Until the broken leg heals I'm staying with my daughter and son-in-law and I'm trying to keep me and the wheelchair out of the way as much as possible. Is there a recipe that could work in one of those muffin top pans? They look like they could produce about the size type of bread I needed. Thanks for suggesting.
