  • Whole 30 question

When doing the whole 30 did you eat out any? And if you did what kind of things did you order?

  • #2
I usually go for a burger, minus the bun and get the side salad. Then I chop up the burger onto the salad! Depending on your level of whole 30 you can top it with ketchup and mayo like you would a burger or you can get a oil and vinegar type dressing and go that route. Add a glass of soda water and you're set!

I haven't risked it. Not a big "take out" person anyway and during whole30 I really want to be absolutely certain of what i was eating - that means cooking everything from scratch. fortunately at the moment I have time to cook 2 meals a day - of more if I prep ahead.

IF I had to - i guess I would go for an Indian and have tandoori chicken - no sauce just a spicy rub then cooked in the tandoor. Add a simple salad and a dressing as above?

Tandoori chicken is marinated in yogurt.

Didn't eat out that much, but thai bbq chicken was a pretty safe bet (sauce served on the side).

Yes... Nando's half a chicken (hot!) and a mixed leaf salad on the side with oil. It is my #1 go-to meal for eating out.

I was thinking any restaurant salad dressing would use bad oils.

I did not eat out at all during my whole 30, you can never know for sure what the ingredients are.

Depends on the restaurant. If the place makes their own, the oils are probably going to be good (and they'll definitely be able to tell you).
