  • eating just a fatty snack

For a snack i like to have a small handful of macadamia nuts.
They are very high in fat (i dont have a problem with that) with negligible amounts of protein and carbs.
My question is, what is the pathway that occurs after digestion of just fats.
I know if just protein is eaten the body secretes glucagon, and then insulin comes into the picture.
Not sure if this is the same for just a fatty meal?
