Gimmick. Supposedly very high in antioxidants but the benefits are unproven
Four years Primal with influences from Jaminet & Shanahan and a focus on being anti-inflammatory. Using Primal to treat CVD and prevent stents from blocking free of drugs.

Eat creatures nose-to-tail (animal, fowl, fish, crustacea, molluscs), a large variety of vegetables (raw, cooked and fermented, including safe starches), dairy (cheese & yoghurt), occasional fruit, cocoa, turmeric & red wine

As someone from Brazil, i see Acai as a tasty fruit (very much like blueberry) but not magic...all this talk about how great it is, to me is gimmik too.

Yup, more bunk. I think Robb Wolf addressed this in a podcast a while back, if you want more info from his perspective. (I think it was mostly a rant about "magic" substances in general.)

I agree with what the posters above have stated. If you're interested, here's a pretty good article about acai (Plus there is a quote from me in it!)
"In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they couldn't be more different."

"You can have anything you want, but you can't have everything you want."

I don't suppose you'd be able to suggest a good place to buy acai, Lila?
