    I have reading reading the blogs and have been seeing stories (WITH THE PROOF OF BEFORE AND AFTER PICS) about people who are getting lean and having weight loss success with a primal paleo eating lifestyle..i'm still is this possible eating fats????

    correct me for being a bit naive but this is very intriguing and inspiring

      Because for individuals with a normal metabolism, fat loss isn't about eating low fat/carbs/protein, moderate fat/carbs/protein, high fat/carbs/protein....

      It's about creating a calorie deficit. Easy peasy.

        Read the Primal 101 threads on Mark's blog, and be enlightened. Fat is GOOD for you. It's sugar, grains, and starchy carbs that will make you fat and sick.
        Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.

          I read the book before finding this forum and I can say I got the fat message from here, not from the book. I also read Cordain in Paleo Diet and I took a specific LOW fat message from that. Whether or not I am so blinded by CW that I just am not getting it I cannot say.

          I think it was one of your posts specifically Grizz that drove it home for me. It is critical to eat healthy fats and the proof is the $300 odd that I just had to spend on winter clothes because nothing in my closet fits any more and this after just 2 months.
          Wheat is the new tobacco. Spread the word.
