I've been thinking about eggs and the chicken's diet, especially after coming across Mark's post on lectins again. It seems soy isoflavones are transferred into the egg yolk from chickens fed soy. But i couldn't find info on other things like wheat for instance. Do lectins, etc from wheat get transferred into a chicken's eggs? It would seem that eggs are totally gluten free, but i've read anecdotes from celiacs who have reacted to eggs from chickens fed wheat, but not from chickens fed corn.

Basically, i'm just wondering if it's possible for the "bad" stuff in wheat getting transferred to eggs from chickens fed wheat?
