  • Went to the Doctors and the results are in!

    After about 4 months of eating primal and working out I decided to get a physical and my blood checked out (it's been probably 10 years since I last checked).

    Total Cholesterol: 184
    HDL Cholesterol: 66
    Triglycerides: 41
    LDL Cholesterol: 110

    I told the doctor I changed my diet up and he said the numbers were excellent and to keep doing what I'm doing because it's working. He couldn't believe my Triglycerides were so low he never saw it that low.

    My Glucose was at 72 as well.

    Everything else checked out normal.

    Whoa, you are ridiculously healthy! CRP is an important measurement too but I'm guessing it is pretty good.

    How do you feel physically and emotionally?
    Stabbing conventional wisdom in its face.

        Had similar (if not so striking) results ( had a cheat weekend prior). I bet your CRP is fine.

          What is CRP? Trying to find it on the chart. My CHOL/HDLC Ratio is 2.8.

          I feel great. Never been stronger and haven't looked this good since High School/Early Army days

            C-reactive protien. An inflamatory marker.

              Don't see it on my paper so maybe it wasn't tested or it's listed as something else there.
