I have been trying to drop fat at a rather quick rate lately all while trying to preserve as much muscle as possible. I started taking L-glutamine before and after workouts, as well as different times through out the day. My question is that if glutamine helps to preserve muscle glycogen during workouts is this hindering my fat loss goals? Do I want to deplete stored glycogen to encourage my body to burn fat? I dont know a lot about this topic so forgive me if I am missing something obvious here.
