  • Looking for good nutritional based lit that supports primal eating

Am reading Good Calories, Bad Calories now but looking for other sources to share with skeptical friends/family. Any suggestions appreciated. Have some people in med school right now that I am trying to get to go primal but have not been able to get them to try it yet.

      The Primal Blueprint

There are a ton of other books that are great, but I have not read them yet so The Primal Blueprint is the only one I can personally recommend
      Find me at aToadontheRoad.com. Cheers!

I think most people mean the one by Anthony Colpo. I'd never heard of the other one before.

Your med friends are likely to be influenced more by peer-reviewed literature. The following blogs discuss the primal views -

This new American Society of Evolutionary Medicine:
                http://evmedsociety.blogspot.com/

and it's older sister site EvMed (formerly Nephropal):
                http://nephropal.blogspot.com/

                Animal Pharm:
                http://drbganimalpharm.blogspot.com/

                Hyperlipid:
                http://high-fat-nutrition.blogspot.com/

                Whole Health Source:
                http://wholehealthsource.blogspot.com/

                Cooling Inflammation:
                http://coolinginflammation.blogspot.com/

They all generally reference peer-reviewed literature to support their topics of discussion which are gererally in line with the primal blueprint.

“It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creeds into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or driving underground all heretics.”
