  • Does steak make your stomach stick out?

I got a good deal on some steaks this week and I swear my stomach has grown>>>

Are you forgetting to butter them? It is important to butter one's steak to avoid the impending corpulence.

Stomachs are capable of expanding and shrinking depending on how much you have eaten.

Steak actually helps me to lose weight, so mine kind of looks a bit flatter and sides are curvier...........

If you eat at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, they smother their steaks in butter after searing them at 1,800 degrees! Before going primal, it was considered an indulgence...now it is considered essential!

Our famous steaks are seared to perfection at 1800 degrees and topped with fresh butter so they sizzle all the way to your table.

For the record, I butter mine sometimes as well. I think it helps to keep them from drying out too much to help the meat to absorb the seasoning that I put on it. It also helps to keep the steak from sticking to the grill.

your stomach is growing because it is full of happy.

'happy' is one of those lesser known macronutrients that is often looked over, but essential to optimal biological function. be sure to optimize your happy while keeping a good balance of proitein, carbs, and fats.

I know, dumb question. But I actually thought it helped with digestion. The way steak dissappears into your system amazes me. I ate soooo much meat at my friend's BBQ on Memorial day and well, it never came back out.

I created a garlic butter wet rub that I use.
Brown butter in the pan, at least 1/4 stick per steak. Add 1/4 head garlic and 1/4 onion. Sautee until aromatic. Pull of the heat and allow to sit while you salt and pepper your steaks. Brush on with a silicone brush, using a fork to apply liberal amounts of the garlicky goodness. I use the flat of the tines of the fork to "massage" the garlic butter in and let it sit while the grill warms up and such.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, steak in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Holy F***, What a Ride!"

I saute my steak in butter in a cast iron frypan and then add a generous pat when it's done cooking while it rests. I don't know that I've had better steak.
