    Carob is sweeter;chocolate is tastier. Carob has some carbohydrates;chocolate has caffeine.
    There is a slight difference in fats.

    Just curious. Any users of carob instead of cacao? If so, how and why do you use it?

    Sometimes I like carob flavor, but I don't see it as a chocolate substitute any more than vanilla or strawberry flavors.
