    Been on the road and doing great; eating primal on the road is tough but I've been managing to at least get my burger wrapped in lettuce when fast food was the only option. Had a nice hike a couple days ago and going to an amusement park today, it'll be fun!

      Had a great swim in a stream today. Felt so right to just jump in and enjoy nature. Made me think I need to carve out more time to be in nature when I'm in the semester. I feel so much better having had that time in the woods. Somehow I find this easy to forget.

        So I got to Canada earlier in the week and I have been having a wonderful time! I've been using my paddle board and I'm really sore haha! In also managed to eat out for TWO WEEKS every single meal during the road-trip and I kept it primal and pretty cheap. My body comp actually seemed to improve (i can almost see abs now!) these last few weeks because I was hiking and walking and swimming in streams, sleeping and not stressing. It was really hard keeping it clean at the restaurants but I'm so happy I did.

          Had great day today; I ate lamb, spinach, and tomatoes for breakfast, lamb and salad with strawberries on top for lunch, and pork with roasted potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms and onions for dinner. Threw in a few squares of dark chocolate and a nice paddle for exercise and I'm in heaven. Gotta love summer.

              Forgot to picture dinner which was an improvised shepherds pie; I did not have enough carrots to layer it, or peas to add to the meat so I simply chopped carrots, shrooms and a little broccoli up and cooked them into the meat. It turned out pretty decent if I do say so myself.

              Breakfast today;

              I almost never make something like this, maybe once a month, but I wanted a pancake like thing. Due to a lack of ingredients again (I just moved in to my summer home which is a small suit almost like a long term stay hotel) I made a simple cake with one egg, one tablespoon of coconut flour, one tablespoon of water (would have used coconut milk if I had it), 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and a dash of cinnamon then fried it in ghee. It was good though not much like a real pancake; too dense. I ws happy with it though all things considered. I ate this with a grapefruit and too much coffee :-)

                Lunch and dinner were exactly the same; left over chicken tikka masala (from this recipe) with rice biriyani and saag. I decided not to take two pictures since curry basically looks like poo.

                I had two snacks;

                kimchi

                wine and chocolate

                And that is where the trouble started. That was glass one of THREE! I slept like crap after that, I'm kinda mad at myself really, thats just plain gluttony. As I was lying in bed last night, tossing and turning, Marks newest articles on booze came to mind. He didn't cut it out and say never but it seems he now treats it like apiece of cake. On your birthdays, sure go for it. Every day? Your asking for trouble. I'm starting to come around to this. I know I slip up on the drinking more often than I should. I know its keeping me from my health goals and somehow I have amnesia when evening time rolls around. I keep telling myself I can stick to one, but sadly, it seems that I can't. Kind of makes me feel pretty weak. So no more; I will have it as a treat, not as a daily indulgence because one daily is quickly becoming two, sometimes three. NO ES BUENO.

                  Skipped lunch; had a bit of a snack around 4pm. Some olives, kimchi, beets and some homemade deer jerky.

                  Dinner:

                  Dessert; also decided to eat a couple squares of chocolate after I took this pic.

                  Bf this morning. My fiance made it for me, he cooked the kale in bacon grease <3
