Thirty days of tracking...This should be interesting. Maybe all this cooking and prepwork will keep me off the computer longer!

Grocery day is tomorrow, so I have to get my menu made for the next two weeks. That should be interesting since the House Mouse is definitely against all vegetables or healthy foods of any kind.

Today is planned - for me at least, and she (HM^) will eat it, say it's good, and then complain that she doesn't like this or that. I don't tell her she has to eat it, but do say that it's healthy.

B: 3 egg omelet with mushrooms, onions, and jalapeno peppers, salmon patties, corn beef hash

L: Steamed mussels, kale, vegatable soup, flax focaccia bread with almond butter/coconut oil blend

S: Greek yogurt, lychee, & blueberries

D: Grilled steak, sauteed onions & mushroom, steamed kale & brussels sprouts with ghee

L: No lunch - I slept all day since I was up all night reading Primal eating stuff, and where to get started. Still wondering about rice and beans, but will get to that, I suppose.

D: Cup of hot tea (straight up, nothing added), black beans & brown rice with diced tomatoes and ground sausage, side of brussels sprouts. I could have gotten by without the sausage, but felt like I needed more meat. It certainly wasn't the best choice (IMO), but tomorrow is grocery day, and the freezer is looking a bit empty.

S: focaccia flax bread with almond butter/coconut oil blend and 1 tsp non-HFCS grape jam

As for exercise, I haven't found much that I can do with being in a wheelchair - I can stand, but can't walk without fallng over, so I do squats (up to 20 so far, which is a lot more than what I could do when I first landed in this wheelchair), pushups (getting up off the floor is harder than it seems), and seated rowing with a band. There are no local gyms where I live, so I'm going to have to invest in a set of weights.

Edit: Didn't do pushups today. I added another set of band rowing and leg lifts. No cartilage makes it hard to lift my legs - and my hip joints are flattened out, and bone-against-bone, so lifting my legs hurt, (not in a good way), but I broke a sweat, so I guess that's good. lol

Outdoors - it's a rough terrain here, and I've dumped myself out of my wheelchair more than a few times, so I plan on driving into town twice a week to the park and wheel around the track. I think it's a mile-long circle, but I need to get in more exercise.

Edited: This would be easier if there was a strikethrough, or maybe there is, but I can't find it?

      Hi Pebbles,
I need to lose about 60lbs, lower my cholesterol, triglycerides, and bp, and get back in shape! I've been weaning myself off the bread, and don't have that wheat craving anymore, so now I'm working on giving up sugar. I'd love to go total paleo, but the House Mouse won't have it. We divide grocery buying, and tomorrow is her day She lives on processed everything that I could live very well without. (Her too, but she won't listen!) I'll be sliding in lots of vegetables and planning around her!

I was in bed by 10:30 and woke at 2:00 feeling starved, so I had a 3"x3" slice of flax focaccia bread with 2 T. almond butter/coconut oil blend. It's just 3.5 hrs later now, and I feel this urge to eat meat (weird), so am heading outside to forage. (The refrigerator & freezer are in the unheated sunroom, and it's 40F. ) I think I'll kill the ribeye this morning and serve it up with some scrambled eggs and salsa.

Lunch is uncertain yet. I'm hoping to get done in town before lunch so I won't be tempted to grab anything, but if not, I'll go have steak fajitas at the Mexican restuarant, sans the wraps, beans, and rice.

I've already done my exercise this morning (seated zumba), but will be "race walking" from my WC today, while I try to keep up with the House Mouse at the grocery store. I will count that as part of my paleo movement!

Breakfast - 5 bites of cinnamon bun and coffee - I know, I know! Rotten food. Believe me, it didn't take me long to feel the effects, but I never did kill that steak, so I ended up getting jittery and needed something quick. I'm well aware that I tend to pass out if I don't eat at least two hours after I wake up. Now if I can just keep my meals planned, and food prepared for when I don't feel like cooking, I won't have that problem. 0_0

Lunch was steak and shrimp covered in hot sauce, and a lettuce/tomato/guacamole salad at the Mexican restaurant. I had no wraps, no chips, and I pushed the rice aside too. The hot sauce blistered my mouth and lips, and there was NO warning on the menu (or by the waitress), so I'll stick to wrap-less fajitas the next time I eat Mexican!

I stopped at the roadside vegetable stand and loaded up on greens (mustard, turnips, kale, spinach, Napa cabbage, and red cabbage), parsnips, bell peppers, spaghetti squash, grass-fed whole milk with cream on the top, a pint of half-and-half with cream on the top, 2 lbs. of grass-fed butter, bananas, kiwi, and apricots. Thank goodness for Mennonites! I just wish they sold meat too!

At the grocery store, I picked up 4lbs. of boneless, skinless chicken breast, 2 lbs each of labeled "All natural, no additives" ground beef and pork to make sausage patties tomorrow. I wanted the grass-fed bison, but passed since it was $8 for 1 lb. Sea scallops were 1 lb for $15, so I left that on the shelf too, but there's a local fishery that I plan on checking out later next week. I didn't buy any eggs today either, and I'm out, but I could not find any Omega-3 eggs. I'll check another grocery store tomorrow since I have to go in the opposite direction.

I also bought a large dry-erase calendar to put in the kitchen so I can plan out my meals. I could use reminders of what I need to eat since I don't really care for meat, which is kind of strange since I grew up on a farm, and we'd always butchered our own cows, hogs, and chickens. Maybe it was moving away from home and then miles away to where I didn't have access to the "real" food I'd grown up on, or going into work full time and then being so tired at the end of the day that I just didn't feel like cooking. I spent many a weekend baking and freezing casseroles, which were mostly high-carb/high-starch, so I think getting back into buying local from the organic sources I know of will help.

          I didn't have any dinner.

I've been up since 5:00, and had 6.5 hours of sleep. I feel rested, which is a term I haven't used in at least a couple of years. Must have been a combination of the extra protein I had yesterday and all the exerise I got. I'm still feeling the effects of the seated race-walking I did. Seriously - y'all get a heavy office chair with wheels, and drag yourselves around for a couple of hours. HA! My glutes are aching - as is my left hip, which is the weaker of the two, so I have to go easy today. I'll get plenty of arm use once I hit the kitchen and start cooking.

I'm not very hungry, but after that serious cheat yesterday, I chunked up a pear, sprinkled it with nutmeg and Chinese 5-Spice, fried it in coconut oil, then finished cooking it in water. I also had 1/2 a slice of a small pumpernickel roll grilled with grass-fed butter. Going primal is going to be a learning thing here, and I do like bread, so I decided I would limit myself rather than feeling deprived.

Anyhow, as soon as I get back from town, I'll be cooking up a batch of pork/hamburger sausage with onions, smoked paprika, and Chinese 5-spice. I'm also going to make some baked scotch eggs minus the breadcrumbs. Those just look so darn good, and what a great thing to carry with you when you're dashing out the door!

I'm also making some turnip salad today, roasting up some onions and parsnips, and lighting the grill to cook the chicken breasts I bought yesterday.

Oh, and I topped my coffee off with non-homogenized, additive-free, real half-and-half this morning. Real cream - Haven't had it since I left the farm 32 years ago! YUM!

Off to get started on my day.

Finishing up the scotch eggs. House Mouse is impressed. =D Everything else is ready to go except for the chicken. I really didn't feel like bothering with it today, so tomorrow, it's on.

As I mentioned earlier, breakfast was a pear, sprinkled it with nutmeg and Chinese 5-Spice, fried it in coconut oil, then finished cooking it in water. I also had 1/2 a slice of a small pumpernickel roll grilled with grass-fed butter.

Lunch was a chicken pot pie.

Snack: Ice cream in a waffle cone - Last one of the year. I rarely eat ice cream, so I don't count it as a "cheat." It's a definite treat for me!

Dinner: Baked cod, greek yogurt with dill for the dip, cabbage and turnip slaw made with olive oil mayo.

Definitely feel full, which is saying something, because I am always looking for something to snack on later. I think I'll stick with a cup of green tea and lemon this evening.

I am hurting more than usual today. It was a literal PIA to get in and out of my car and deal with loading/unloading the wheelchair. The sciatic nerve is wanting to act up, so I'll do some very light stretching once I get into bed. It may be a Biofreeze night.

In bed at 10:30 last night, and up at midnight. I had a glass of 1/2 eggnog: 1/2 whole milk, and then back to bed and woke up at 8:00. Still sore. Pre-breakfast snack: 1 homemade beef/pork sausage patty.

1 set of 12 leg lifts, 25 squats, 1 set of 12: arm lifts with band, 2 sets of 12: rowing with the band.

Breakfast: 1 over-medium egg fried real butter, 1-4" link of Kielbasa sausage, 1/2 cup of Fage yogurt with added probiotics, 1/2 a banana. Coffee - 2 cups with 1 TBS whole milk, cream included half-n-half.

I decided this morning to opt out of eating standard commercialized bread - even after stating yesterday that I was going to stick with the pumpernickel. I've been making the Dukan Galette made with egg, Fage, and gluten-free oat bran for the past year at least once a week. According to Dr. Dukan, one is supposed to eat that every day. Anyhow, I've noticed that my bread craving seems to lessen when I do eat it, so once a day will be an n=1 experiment.

It's time to break out the grill for the chicken. I also need to get out the salad bowl and put together a BAS for lunch. Greens, artichoke hearts, small, boiled brussels sprouts.

I haven't cooked those parsnips yet. According to NutritionData.com, they are 91% carb, which is, I think, way too much for me. House Mouse may get some benefit from them though, since she needs to gain weight, so I'll throw those in a foil pack with some garlic and onion rings when I put the chicken on the grill.

Edit: Additional exercise: 1 set of 12 leg lifts, 20 squats, 2 sets of 20 rowing with the band, 5 times pulling myself up the WC ramp, twice across the yard (grass section)- 128 feet.

So, at lunch, I added a red bell pepper and chopped walnuts to my salad. Topped with 2 tsp. raspberry vinaigrette.

Dinner was 6 meatballs with another BAS.

Snack: 2"x1" slice of Flax Focaccia bread with 1 tsp. real butter.

Coffee today ended up being 4 cups (at 2 cup servings -- travel mug) with 2 TBS real cream half-n-half in both.

It's 1:38am, and I'm still coming off that caffiene, so 2 cups, I can handle and get a good night's sleep.

I was up at 8:00 this moring after not being able to sleep well last night. The clock read 5:12 when I last looked at it. I took a 3.5 hour nap from 11-2:30 and even felt like I had enough energy to do my workouts.

Breakfast: Dukan galette (egg/yogurt/oat bran pancake) with blueberries, 2 homemade sausage patties (half beef/half pork), 1 cup coffee, black.

Lunch: small salad (spinach, bell pepper, artichoke hearts, walnuts), boiled egg

Exercise - 2 sets of 12 leg lifts, 30 squats (3 sets of 10 with a count of 5 in between), 2 sets of 20 rowing with the band. 2 sets of 12 bi/tri workouts with the band.

                  Snack: 1 cup coffee, black

Edit: Snack: 1 cup eggnog. Zomg, that stuff is so good. Definitely fattening though, so I'm glad it's only around once a year. lol

Dinner: Baked cod topped with 1 TBS coconut oil, and 1 cup shredded cabbage topped with 1 TBS coconut oil.

I have a slight headache. Not sure if it's from lack of caffiene today, which is probable since I've only had 2 cups instead of my "regular" 2-2 cup servings, or if it's from a lack of fat? Can one even get a headache from the lack of fat? IDK. I do know I just felt like taking a swig of coconut oil straight from the bottle, but House Mouse would have probably had an apoplectic fit! =D

In bed at 1:15am, up at 8:00. I am awake and alert.

I've been wondering what CrossFit moves were, and if I could even do any, so after checking the website, I did 5 deep squats last night as an experiment before I got into bed. I was surprised that I was able to do them. I haven't even tried once to do deep squats since having to start using this wheelchair, (5 years) so was a bit nervous that I'd either get stuck (literally), or that a hip would slide out of joint. My calves hurt this morning, as well as hip joints, but the bone-on-bone parts don't hurt - just the tendons that were stretched. I may try a few more today.

Pre-breakfast (while foraging): 1 boiled egg, 1/2 large banana
Breakfast: 2 eggs fried in EEVO, 1-0.034lb. braised med-rare flank steak, 1.5 sweet potato patty
Working on 2 cups black coffee

                    Edit:
Exercise: 10 women's pushups, 2 sets of 12 leg lifts, 20 squats, 2 set of 12: arm lifts with band, 2 sets of 20: rowing with the band.

Lunch: BAS (spinach, bok choy, steamed brussels sprouts, red bell pepper, (2) 2" turnip roots, 1 homemade 1/2 beef / 1/2 pork sausage, 1 cup whole fat milk with cream with 1 cup eggnog

                    Took a 2 hour nap.

Dinner: 1/2 cup Fage, 1/2 med. banana

Exercise: 1 set of 12 reps using resistant band for the delts.

Coffee and grass-fed butter sounds good right now, but I'll live with water for the rest of the evening.

In bed at 1am, up at 2pm. My hips and lower back hurt today. Chronic pain is a literal PIA for me. (insert sad chuckle) It's raining, and high humidty gets me every.single.time.

I had 1 homemade sausage patty, 1/2 a cup of Fage, and 1 fresh apricot when I got up. House Mouse asked if I wanted cream of asparagus soup for lunch, and I gagged. We had chicken pot pie instead, which was worse considering it's not only a cream base, but also was inside a double crust of flour and additives. Now my stomach hurts, which is what I get for not cooking.

1.5 cups French press coffee, black

Exercise: 2 sets of 12 leg lifts, 14 squats, 2 sets of 20 rowing with the band, 2 sets of 12 bi/tri/delts workouts with the band.

Dinner: 2 Dukan Galettes (1 egg, 1/2 cup Fage, 1 TBS coconut oil, 3 TBS. oat bran), 3 real butter pats, 1/2 a banana

Edit: Exercise: 2 sets of 20 rowing with the band

                      Milkshake
1 cup whole milk with cream
                      1 egg
1 TBS coconut oil (LouAna's from Walmart)
                      1/4 tsp. sugar (gasp!)
                      1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Toss it all in the blender. Enjoy.

I did not sleep well last night. Up three times to go to the bathroom, and when I finally went to sleep, only got 5h. I feel okay enough to get done what's on my list today. (Cleaning out a storage shed.) It's a nice cool day for getting some movement in.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, mushroom, red bell pepper, onion, and 2 homemade sausage patties scrambled in 2 tsp coconut oil. 1.5 cups coffee with cream.

Off to the store to get more eggs, stopping by a brother's to pick up some tomato cages, and then cleaning out the shed.

Edit: No lunch today. Dinner was a BAS (spinach, steamed brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms, walnuts). Dressing was 2 fresh apricots and 1 kiwi mashed and mixed with coconut oil. Baked cod.
Finishing it up with 1 cup black coffee.

My brother came to dinner. I gave him a bag of scotch eggs and told him how to reheat them, and then fix his own.

                        Off to visit. BBL

2nd Edit: Exercise (all with resistance band): 3 sets of 12: leg lifts, 2 sets of 12: delts, bi, tri, 2 sets of 12: overhead stretching for pecs, 3 sets of 20: rowing, (no band):1 set of 12: squats

                        3rd Edit:
                        Snack: 1 boiled egg.

Now to discover if I'm bored, or really hungry. I can't go to bed yet, because my pj's are in the dryer. My stomach isn't growling, but there's a bit of hunger-like pain. Do I follow it up, and maybe eat more salad or a couple of homemade sausages, or just let it go until in the morning?

I am wondering whether or not to do an IF tomorrow between breakfast and dinner, because Christmas lunch will be fixed by my brother and his wife - fried fish and full-on carb snacks for the sides. I don't want any of it.

I haven't had any dairy today, so I think I've done good. I'd like to continue it. After just a week of low carbs and more fat, I no longer have to suck in my stomach to get my jeans zipped up, and there's a fist full of loose material in the thigh area, which I haven't had in about...oh...I can't remember. (sigh).

I "could" bring my BAS, but family tends to make me be the last in the buffet line since I'm in a wheelchair and thus, "in the way," so there won't be much salad left since they all say they're dieting. Pffft. Or, maybe I'll bring it and leave it in the car until they've all got their plates fixed.

What to do? I don't feel like I'm ready for an IF. I had a sugar craving today that took about 15 minutes to get over, plus having to drive by Dairy Queen while that was going on, but I.DID.IT, and ate an early dinner at home. I should be proud of myself, but tomorrow is all I can think about.

I wouldn't feel so unsure, except we'll all be sitting around and talking after everyone's finished eating, and the food will just be sitting there, because everyone continues to snack, snack, snack. O.o

Maybe I'll just stay home. I did last year. We don't exchange gifts anymore, so it's all about the food, and they think vat fried food is healthy. Don't hate me - I know a lot of you love your bacon. lol I'm just not there yet. (sigh)

Edit #4: Ok, I gotta say this. I succumbed to the food god. If you haven't tried Rivven's "bread," OMG. You are seriously missing out. I ended up making one using a soup bowl in the microwave, and it was thick enough to make an entire sandwich. I cooked it, let it cool a bit, cut it in half, slathered butter on both pieces, and then sliced and heated up one of the homemade pork/beef sausages I made this week. Sandwiches are BACK!

                        1/4 cup Fage
1/4 cup ground flaxseed (Rivven used almond meal)
                        1 egg
                        1 tsp. baking powder

Mix everything together and dump into a greased, flat bottomed soup bowl.
                        Microwave 3-4 minutes.

Let cool 2 min., slice in half. Make your sandwich.
                        It's that easy.

                        Merry Christmas!

See you when I get back from the cook out. (Christmas Day, predicted 55F, mostly cloudy, and we have to eat outdoors -- shoot me now. This is pneumonia weather.)

Bed at 5, up at 11. I opted out of freezing my a$$ off and having to eat outside. The silence here is absolutely, positively, beautiful. No radio. No talking heads. No constant interruptions. Not a sound in the house except the tapping of fingers on keyboard and the snoring pug. I love it.

Breakfast was 2 boiled eggs, about 1/2 a cup of the BAS I made yesterday, and 2 cups of coffee, black. I'm not hungry. It could be that "sandwich" I made last night. Downright delishious! (And here I was worrying about whether I could do IF today. lol) This primal thing is getting more and more interesting the longer I keep it up.

I don't miss the bread at all, and thought I would, which is why I kept wanting to hang onto something that still contained the grains. Pumpernickel, smickel. The birds can have it - or HouseMouse since she thinks she should listen to her CW doctor-who-told-her, "keep smoking," when she was ready to quit. Granted, she was going through a hard time, what with Dad having become a total bed invalid from prostate and bone cancer, but come on. Quitting smoking would have been the best thing she could have done. Now her excuse is, "I've smoked so long that I'm afraid if I quit now, I'll get cancer." <facealm>

Ah well, she's back. Privacy over. Later.

                          Edit:
Things tend to bite you in the a$$ sooner or later! smh. I am so judgemental today of everyone (family members). I really need to stop. Here I am blasting House Mouse's actions, and then I read the back of the bag of cod. Yeah, I know it's breaded. Well, no wonder, girly that you don't miss the damn bread - You're still eating it! For someone with a 4.0 and 3.98 GPA averages in two different colleges, my commen sense seems to have left me! I had two pieces of cod fillet for dinner, baked with a tsp. of coconut oil drizzled over each piece. Oh, well, at least I'm not hungry. Oh, I also had a tiny bite of the carrot cake House Mouse brought home after her Christmas lunch. It was way too sweet, and left a strong clove aftertaste. Blech.

I'm taking a break from any movement today - unless you want to count chasing the puppies all over the house. That's a workout in itself since I have to dodge all the furniture in this wheelchair. It's supposed to rain the next three days, so no outside work. I have to fix the asparagus beds for winter, the flower beds need some serious attention, and I'm still working on the shed.

Edit #2: Bedtime (8pm) ended up being a 2.5h nap. I had 1 scotch egg. I'd like a cup of coffee, but it's too late for it. Maybe a cup of hot lemon water, and then back to bed before the blue light of this computer wakes me all the way back up. See you...

Rather than going immediately back to bed last night when I woke up at 11, I stayed up until 3:00, and worked on a few action steps I need to take for some projects I would like to get done this year. If the weather cooperates, I would like to spend more time outside. However, I don't seem to have the "want to" when my sleep habits are so messed up and I sleep in until noon! (sigh)

One of my projects - cleaning out the shed - includes pitching the small greenhouse that I had purchased in the fall of 2013. My then 13-year-old niece, in her haste to help me move it to a better area to keep it from blowing into the pond - snatched on the frame, and broke several of the connectors. On thinking about why I hadn't yet tossed it came down to my main issue as a waste of money...I hate wasting money, and just having to get rid of it after not even getting a single use out of it just ticks me off to no end.

When I discovered the Flylady system back in 2009, I ended up renting and filling a roll-back dumpster, and cleaning out my house of all the junk I had been holding onto for the past 20 years. I felt so liberated!

Of course, things are a lot different now since I ended up moving in with House Mouse due to needing a wheelchair. I couldn't afford a whole-house remodel, and most of what I have left is in storage. House Mouse has a 3-story house full of furniture that was her mother's, packed wall-to-wall in her small house, so I'm always saying, "I live in a museum." Honestly, it drives me bonkers to live in all this "stuff" that is mostly a large collection of dust collectors, and it is all on display.

I really need to get out of here in order to save my sanity. I've been thinking quite a bit about saving my money and investing in a tiny home. SSI doesn't give me much to work with, and I do need to pay off 3 major debts, but moving out is definitely at the top of my to list. I won't bore you with the specifics of why, because I don't want a repeat of whining, which I did yesterday. Anyhow, I need to find about an acre of land and buy that first.

Before Dad got cancer, he and I were building a commercial livestock herd of goats. We went from a starting herd of 3 does and 1 billy to a total of 150 goats which included 3 billies. Half the herd were kids. We ended up with a good looking, healthy herd over the span of 4 years. Goats multiply like bunnies!!! I ended up having to sell the entire lot to help House Mouse take care of him. Anhow, I would love to have a few that I could raise and put in the freezer, and sell the extras to put some more money in the bank. However, the brother that was elected as the family estate executor refuses to let me put any goats in the pasture, so I can't have any unless I move!

Breakfast: Rivven's sandwich recipe made with flaxseed, one homemade beef/pork sausage patty, 2 tsp. low-sugar (no HFCS) blackberry jam, and 2 cups of coffee with 1 TBS half-n-half with cream.

I need to track calories today. Actually, I need to go enter everything I've eaten this week into Cron-o-meter, because I'm pretty sure my calories have been too high in fat and too low in calories/vitamins/minerals all around, or both. I am going over my meals that I've been listing since joining MDA, and see that I need to work on a lot better choices...less coconut oil, more vegetables, fish with no breading...I am still shaking my head about that D'oh moment I've been having! Having sausage every morning is getting boring, so I need to come up with something else. I'd also like to cut the dairy.

I don't have any issues with dairy as far as allergies or lactose intolerance, and there was a time when I lost quite a bit of weight using whole milk as the base for my 2 milkshakes a day with fruit instead of food. I was also half the age I am now, and was a lot more active. Huh. What I'd love to see is my weight being what it was 25 years ago, and keeping it there!

Ok, I need to go do some body movement with my resistance bands, and do some meditating before House Mouse gets back from Brother #1's. See you....

Edit: 3 sets of 12: leg lifts, 2 sets of 25: rowing, 2 10-sec. planks, 14 deep squats.

I haven't done a plank since I wound up in this wheelchair. OMG, that was hard!

Edit #2: Dinner was a piece of salmon with skin on (not breaded this time), topped with ground walnuts, and about 1.5 cups of lightly stir-fried vedgetables in coconut oil - broccoli, cauliflower, onions, red bell peppers, baby spinash, and chopped walnuts.

Second round of body movement: 2 sets of 12: leg lifts, 2 sets of 12: knee lifts, 2 sets of 12: ankle lifts, 2 sets of 12: abs, 2 sets of 12: pecs, tri, bi, delts. (Some with the resistance band, some without - just concentrated on tightening muscles for the most part this evening)

                            Edit #3:
Midnight snack: a milkshake made with 1/2 cup eggnog, 1/2 cup whole milk with cream, 1 egg, 1tsp. coconut oil, 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract.

I am itching - TMI to go there, so I won't, but WTH! Will do another test tomorrow on the dairy, and on the walnuts I ate for dinner since I am allergic to pecans. I posted elsewhere that I don't have a problem with dairy, and how do you develop an allergic reaction to something you've been eating every day?! I have to go find my Caladryl. I have a horrible memory of being covered in hives years ago....

In bed at 2, up at 9. Breakfast was 1 boiled egg, 1 fried egg, 1 cup of black coffee.
I had to take House Mouse to town today. In between stops, I got a bag of pork rinds.
It would be another two hours before we got home, and I was hungry.
OMG...Huge mistake...My stomach was on fire!

We got back to the house right at 1:30, and I went straight to bed. I just woke up
                              at 6:00.

Dinner...I have to eat? No, no, no! I'm not even hungry. Actually, I'm a little afraid
to eat after what happened earlier, but I made myself eat another boiled egg, and
am having one more cup of black coffee.

On the upside I no longer have to do the shimmy-shake to get my jeans on, the boobs
aren't trying to escape the bra, and I am starting to see cheek definition! The old
scale finally died, so I can't weigh myself, but I'll wait to take measurements until Sunday.

Taking a break from body movements today.

Edit: 8:10pm, and I was hungry. I grabbed the brick of swiss cheese and shredded 1/4 cup. Fried it into a "chip," and sliced 6 1/4" slices from the 1" roll of summer sausage. Also had 1 fresh apricot.

At 8:30, my intestines are burning. No idea what's going on, unless it's just after effects of the pork rinds I had earlier, or the summer sausage I just finished eating. I also had no extra fat today, so could that be a reason? This n=1 experimenting with my food is one of the reasons I keep going back to CW. I would like to eat without having to guess what the food is going to do, but I am seeing positive results from not having any grains, so going back to CW isn't going to happen.

(TMI - This is just a reference for me, so you don't need to read further)....I haven't pooped in 3 days. I'm a little worried, and it's obviously making me cranky/whiny {see the last 2 posts}, but I am not bloated, and my feet and hands aren't swollen.

At this point, I don't know what to change. Other than the pork rinds, which will NEVER pass over my lips again, and using salmon to replace the breaded cod, I "think" I have been eating rather healthy. YVMV (Your view may vary.)

Edit #2: Last food for the day: 1/2 cup eggnog, 1/2 cup whole milk w/cream milkshake with 1 egg, and 1 tsp. cinammon extract. I wanted to add coconut oil, but the house is so cool now that the stuff solidified in the bottle. I'll add it to my coffee in the morning.
