What could possibly be wrong with whipped cream?

    Comment

      • Cream is close to butter, which is allowed on the original s&e

I love coconut whipped cream on top of some pumpkin pudding. I might make some with some coconut cream, homemade pumpkin butter, cinnamon, and gelatin...

Not sure I can find coconut cream that can be whipped in the UK, I know there is lovely organic coconut milk sold in cartons (not cans) but that didn't suit me somehow, but never saw the whipping variety... the only one is the one like a solid block (sold as creamed coconut) and one adds it to soups/curries

          • Would the chocolate cake and ice cream that I had last night also qualify for whatever eating plan I am on? I haven't done that kind of eating in ages. Maybe since last Thanksgiving. Itchy eyes today for sure.

            • I am like the cat that got the cream, literally !!!

OG, next time try mixing coco powder with whipped cream, also ricotta cheese with some whipped cream or a few drops of stevia/honey tastes like cheese case

For me now, jsut whipped cream on top of jello !!

I remember the ricotta dessert from Atkins. It was really good. Usually my oil shot completely does away with cravings..last night was very intentional. A birthday celebration for a good friend. Sushi and cake.

You can open a can of coconut milk, leave in fridge overnight, and the cream will rise to the top for whipping.

                        • My resolve is holding. Had cottage cheese and cantaloupe breakfast.

Business lunch. Will get either bun less burger or salad with meat.

I loved ricotta stuff on Atkins.

My Passion Tea actually did gel. It's not sweet though

                          • Fine by me Miss Calee!

                            I figured I wasn't going to do a W30 either.

I still have gobs of milk and heavy cream, and it's not going anywhere before the 14th, so
                            zero worries whatsoever.

Do I eat some wheat sometimes? Sure do, once a month. Sue me.

I like strict eating regimens as much as the next person, but I don't feel I need one
                            at the moment.

SLD is keeping my weight/measurements/clothes fitting/etc so absolutely incredibly steady
                            it's not even funny.

I haven't "maintained" any of the above in FOR-E-VER, and I'm happy where I am.

So I'm going to keep on with what's working, and just beat holy hell out of my husband when
he comes around me with his 400lbs of potato chips. Ha.

                            • I agree Julia..SLD totally keeps me from overeating. It simply works for me.

I had my calf liver for dinner. I loved it. I did serve it with Mr. Julias grilled potatoes. Maybe that is why it was such a plate licker.

After my debaucle of cake and ice cream last night, I decided the right thing to do was to have my annual pumpkin latte today. It was bitter and yuck.

So..my CC is gone and I am officially giving up dairy for 30 days. I have wheat twice a year at the most, so I wont worry about that.

                              • Pumpkin purée + coconut oil + gelatin (+sweetener) should make a very believeable "cheesecake" in the freezer...
