I don't get Daisy down here, so I go with Friendship, and the 1% by choice since it's available in that large size. I've not tried any of the other ones from Friendship, but I have no complaints with the 1%!

    • I just had this for lunch

-homemade chicken soup (plenty of collagen in it! also blended onions, celery, and carrots)
      -orange
      -plum
      -3 medjool dates

I know the chicken is not okay by Peat standards. I feel full and have more energy than I usually do in the afternoon, but it's also kind of TOO MUCH energy and I feel hella anxious. =\ dislike. Why would fruit make me feel anxious?

I ate the fruit with the soup because I read something by Peat about proteins & fruits together to avoid hypoglycemia, which I am prone to.

      • Try the fruit separate from the soup and see if you react the same way? Maybe you feel anxious because your food isn't digestif seemlessly. Used to happen to me a lot. A lot
Of things did it though- just sounds like a potential culprit.

When I have done that this week, I have horrific heartburn in the afternoon, so that was also part of the experiment with eating it together.

but I have also had anxiety in the afternoon all week. Could be sleep/stress based.

          • 2 salted duck eggs (Chinese delicacy) + green tea for breakfast. A few grapes.

A giant egg white, coconut water, blueberry, pineapple, and gelatin smoothie for lunch post- dead lifting.

Gonna have Peruvian food (grilled cow hearts or a steak cooked in butter) for dinner. Showing friend Jackson heights.

I like 1% Friendship. It's just the only brand that's available around here that doesn't contain a bunch of additives. They actually have a regular kind with salt and a no salt kind. Not sure why they don't have the no salt kind where you are.

I haven't seen Daisy brand CC anywhere around here so I've never had it...

              • I don't like how Friendship costs like 6 dollars while Daisy costs 2

Doesn't seem too friendly if you ask me

                • Costs $4 for that 16oz down here at Publix. Happy medium?

Is it organic and grass fed? If not, I don't think the premium is worth it considering Daisy has even better ingredients and tastes better(to me).

Also, idk what Publix is, and I can only find that at nutrition stores which are definitely overpriced anyway.

I get 4 cups of Friendship for 3.49 here. Maybe it was on sale though I'm not sure.

                      • I found a Friendship 1% that comes with added pineapple. It doesn't have a lot of additives either.

                        • Breakfast of fall fruits, yes please! Orange, apple, mango and pomegranate. Not pictured: earl grey tea with gelatin, sugar and a splash of milk. Also choked down one slice of free range, uncured turkey bacon cooked in coconut oil, but really wish I hadn't ruined my fruit platter with that.

                          • yumm!! do you get feijoas in america? fall fruits here are awesome. feijoas, persimons, tamarillos. we're heading into spring so i am on the navel oranges. i had crushed pineapple and navel orange jelly for lunch yesterday and too much molasses as i got a new type. this type tastes like dark black sugar so i can see it being nice in coffee. still working up to and failing to put sugar in my coffee. when i think how many years it took me to kick sugar in my coffee LOL

                              • 1200 calories of sweet greek full-fat yogurt, a banana, a white potato and three carrots. A half-pot of coffee with molasses and eight eggs. Is that peaty enough?! lol

I've been ramping up my carrot intake and now I'll slowly introduce potatoes. Let's see what happens. Truth is, I need more calories for cheap since I've started lifting heavy, and potatoes are starting to look mighty fine. And that yogurt is on sale at Grocery Outlet.
