Started Primal June 2012 at 148.5lbs, and 5' 1", reached goal weight in 5 months.
Lowest weight 93lbs - too thin. Now stable at around 100lbs much better weight for me at my age.
Primal, minus eggs, dairy and a myriad of other allergens.

Thank you so much everybody. People like me and CarbDodger will just keep on doing this "horribly dangerous" keto thing.

As Nora Gedgaudas points out in this AHS video, keto is KNOWN to be effective on countless conditions such as cancer, epilepsy, ADHD, diabetes. So, to all the people who say, "Well I don't have one of those conditions so I don't do keto", Nora asks, "Why wait until you do?"

Of course. Not being of child bearing age, I feel no need to add non-nutritious carbs to my eating. I look at carbs like candy. I eat them, but they're not necessary.

And for, those of us who aren't getting any younger, ketosis is also a big factor in staving off or preventing Alzheimer's Disease.

I saw the effects of dementia in my Dad. The idea of getting to the point where I don't know where I am or what is going on terrifies me. I see butter and coconut oil as brain food.

                              • I had a lovely party this evening. I was hosting the monthly Game Night. We played a new game I bought called Cards Against Humanity. That was a hoot! I haven't laughed til my belly hurt like that in a long time.

I like my IRL friends as well as my cyber-buddies.
