I think you're the exception, Mango You just seem like a kind person.. But I'm glad you two have a great relationship.

I think there's something to that as well, Brooke. I too needed a lot of care as a child. I was born with a non-correctable eye sight condition and I wasn't really able to do much on my own until I was well into my teen years. But I agree, you'd think she'd just be happy that she was a fully functioning human being that didn't need coddling her entire life. It's only exacerbated by the fact that my sister is naturally of the "victim" mentality. She feels "put upon" by life. I just roll my eyes.
Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

I think the mere fact that you're the younger one would lead to a bit of jealousy for the elder sibling. That and the fact that you both needed extra care is probably just a recipe for a giant pot of resentment. Although I'd think that jealousy would fade as your sisters get older, since they should no longer have that childish "I need all the attention, how dare she take it away from me!" mentality. But I guess a lot of the time these feelings we have in our childhood years carry through.

In my case, I think the main reason I didn't have that jealousy is because of the fact that I really considered my sister as a present to me. I only had brothers, who were all older, and growing distant from me, as they moved further into the typical activities that males participate in. I really, really wanted a sister. So, like I said, she was like a gift to me. I find myself waiting for her to get older, so that we can be even closer. I kind of feel like a bit of a weirdo now, haha.

But I hope both your sisters figure out that what they're doing is silly. Life's too short to waste resenting your own blood for absolutely nothing.
Attitudes are contagious, make yours worth catching.

        Ugh :/

It's hard to be close to anyone with a victim mentality. I have lots of experience with that but I'm not even going there tonight! lol

A typical meal for me would have been say... steamed frozen carrots with a can of tuna and coconut oil. I think my body is used to all my routines.

I seemed to have more energy when I got off work than normal.... wonder if it was from the change in my eating?

Happy belated birthday! Sounds like a really good trip. And hey, Haagan Daz is some healthy stuff, no need to feel guilty anyway . It is nice not to stress out over food too. I've come to believe stressing over the food is worse than eating "bad" foods in the first place.

Thanks Max! I've come to believe the same.

I could have sat there worrying about what I was or wasn't putting in my mouth but I choose to enjoy dinner and time with my parents.

My pulse rate right now is 75. Usually it's 58-60 at this time of night.

Wow, he should of at least flirted AFTER he was done drawing blood.

I'm still confused about the heart rate thing. I can believe excessive endurance training can negatively effect thyroid and metabolism, but what about moderate exercise? I always associated being fit with a low heart rate. Me and my teammates used to brag about our super low heart rates haha.

Try taking your temp consistently for a couple weeks. I find a higher pulse goes with a higher temp and i certainly feel worlds better when i am at a high temp. For refrence my temp is 98.8 now and resting pulse is 70. Baxk in the hypo days i was in the 97s and 50-60.

Sorry to hear about the binge, that is good news though that you were able to stop yourself before you felt sick. I had a binge last night as well, and I'm fine today. It's just another day, you'll feel great again later.

I'm fuller than I would like to be right now but feeling better later is what I'm looking for to.

Hey Zach! Right now my pulse rate is 85... Is there any way besides over eating to raise pulse and body temp.

Sodium to water/potassium ratio, eating the four S's (salt, sugar, starch, saturated fat), eliminating inflammatory foods that raise stress hormones and also keeping stress low in general.

Sounds like a hypo problem, just talked to Om about this. You were using sea salt, correct? I definitely would not use potassium salt.
