          I mostly gave up gluten (gluten= wheat, barley, rye) 4 yrs ago when I discovered that my DDs and husband are all gluten intolerant (one severely).
          I noticed that I felt more clear headed with it out of my diet.

            I was off wheat most of the 2000s and have been again the last year. It's a great feeling but only one piece of the puzzle.

                  Thanks eKatherine and Patti. I feel really good and have noticed I'm sleeping better and and some of the aches and pains that once were there are not any longer. Seems my belt is a notch down too.

                  dacec; agree on feeling more clear headed. Although that might have to do with the lack of sugar in my diet too.

                              Day 1; No Wheat. Well I went on a trip over the weekend to a place that was hot and humid. What goes good with hot and humid? A nice cold beer, that's what. So I had some and it tasted good. Still have yet to have any soda or sweets in over three months.

                                Well I haven't been doing to well on the no wheat thing this past week. Nothing to bad just a few pieces of pizza, and some beer. So I'm going to try today and start again.
