    Sleep/Energy:
    - 12am-7:30am - woke up around 4:30 with painful C Jamba maybe?
    - Super crap energy all day, despite coffee and sugar. Feel more motivated than normal, however.

    Food/Digestion:
    - 3 rice cakes w/ a little butter, smoked salmon
    - 1/2 c. coffee w/ 2 sugar cubes
    - med. sweet potato w/ cinamon, large chicken breast.
    - iced coffee w/ 2 packets of sugar
    - handful baby carrots
    - salmon w/ a little pesto, small sweet potato w/ a little butte
    - Big handful chocolate chips

    - painful C around at 4:30am but a belly massage… shifted things around? I dunno.
    - BMs after coffee
    - Bloat standard. Went down after the coffee induced BM

    Supps
Usual. No alcohol tonight. Just not feelin' it. But I am so close to 2 weeks… maybe I'll take a swig right before bed.

    Skin:
    - Overall skin looks better despite scabs and a few new white heads
    - I am TAN! Ok, that's misleading. I am NOT TRANSPARENT. I haven't been tan in ages, despite summers working 9 hour days outdoors because I would apply SPF 900 sunscreen. Cool

Boring day: Work. Eat. Work. Bus. Eat. Make virtual googly eyes at Zach and Derp. Eat.
Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

    • Yeah, the potential inflammation sucks. It would also be problematic if you have a copper allergy. (If you break out in hives after having it inserted, you'll know that you have a copper allergy.)

      • Yo dude

regarding your measurements - how do you feel that you've leaned out if your measurements are the same?

Also, my diet is gravitating in the exact opposite direction to you atm! Right now I'm mainly eating fruit and dairy. No desire to eat starch (I don't think it's my friend) and the gelatine is replacing all former meat cravings. Why does that always sound wrong?
"I think the basic anti-aging diet is also the best diet for prevention and treatment of diabetes, scleroderma, and the various "connective tissue diseases." This would emphasize high protein, low unsaturated fats, low iron, and high antioxidant consumption, with a moderate or low starch consumption.

In practice, this means that a major part of the diet should be milk, cheese, eggs, shellfish, fruits and coconut oil, with vitamin E and salt as the safest supplements."

Oh, would that be the indication? Thanks

That is a very good question and something I was going to expand upon before my brain melted. My upper body (arms, shoulders) and legs feel thinner. It's probably because I've barely done any strength exercises in over 2 weeks and I'm losing whatever muscle I had started to gain. I only had taken my standard measurements, though, so I don't know for certain.

Ha, yeah, just read that in your journal. Oh noes! Does this mean that we're actually two different people now? I don't think starch is really my friend either but I want it so I eat it. END OF DISCUSSION *she screams at herself*

Still love a big, juicy piece of meat in my mouth.

            Sleep/Energy:
            - ~12am-6:30am (no reason to wake up then)
            - Energy is still shit. Debilitating shit. I know I was just sick but it's been like this for a while.

            Food/Digestion:
            - 3 rice cakes, smoked salmon
            - 1/2 c. coffee w/ 2 sugar cubes
            - green curry with (practically zero) chicken and bamboo shoots + scoop of rice; ~16 oz coke
            - handful carrots
            - 2 chicken legs (w/ skin and gelatin) + BBQ sauce (good ingredients), 1/2 large sweet potato
            - couple swigs gin
            - shot of gin on ice w/ maple syrup (didn't realize my cousins were going to want to have drinks. oh well, extra gin!)

            -BMs: plenty of them
-woke up bloated: last night was the first night I didn't drink alcohol in 11 days and the first time since then that I woke up bloated. I didn’t eat anything unusual, so unless it's some bizarre coincidence or I'm getting my period early or something, then the alcohol really does help?? End of the day bloat is not much different from morning bloat which is relieving.

            Supps:
            Usual, but forgot D3

            Skin:
            - skin on chest is peeling (from my sunburn over 1 week ago?)
            - face still scabby…
            - has nothing to do with MY skin, but my mom told me that a girl in her office took my advice to use coconut oil on her face and said it cleared up her acne. BATTY: 1

I hate it when I try to make a spectacle of myself and it doesn't work!
My friend called me while I was waiting for the bus:
Him: "Who's within earshot of you right now?"
Me: "All of downtown Seattle. SO DON'T EVER CHEAT ON ME WITH THAT DIRTY SLUT EVER AGAIN!"
And no one even looked at me!
Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

            • I'm gonna start trying the alcohol supp! For... science, you know? What are you using?

Also, I don't know if I've said this to you before, but have you heard that topical coconut oil can cause acne for some people?

              • Alcohol bloats me something fierce! I would imagine that if it's helping, it's only to keep things moving and not really fixing anything =\ I am trying magnesium again (with meals and before bed) and peppermint oil (before meals). It's helping with the gassy-ness a lot, but the constipation is still kind of an issue. It's only been a few days w/ these supplements though.

                • Oh, I like to take shots of vodka with maple syrup. Gin though. Can't imagine taking shots of gin. Gross!

Hey, what kind/brand of rice cakes do you eat? The only kind I've found that doesn't have crap in it are Thin Cakes, but they only have brown rice cakes. I'd like to find white rice cakes cuz trying not to eat too much brown rice.

Mostly gin, sometimes whiskey (usually Jack). I'm starting to think it works best with soda like coke or tonic rather than straight up.

Oh yes I'm not discounting that, but I have noticed that my acne is much worse when I don't use it, and, conversely, much better when I apply it liberally (not drowning in it or anything).

What kind of alcohol? for instance, I get the worst rumblings and stomach pain from wine but not from hard alcohol (yeast, plus I can't even eat whole grapes without getting a stomach ache).

Magnesium citrate tablets have helped me a lot! How much are you taking? Also, if you are already backed up, you might need to take care of that with something a little more... involved... before the magnesium will be effective. I.e. doing a mag citrate (liquid) flush (though sometimes this makes me feel even worse)... Ever administered your own enema?

I can take shots of anything (is a winky face mandatory here?). I enjoy the taste of gin to begin with but often when drinking it straight I'm drinking lime infused gin so it's even better / less gin-y.

I eat Lundberg (brown rice) cakes. They are organic, non-GMO brown rice and salt only. They don't seem to bother me any more than other foods, so I continue to eat them. I think Quaker makes white rice cakes? I dont' know what the ingredients are but I've been thinking of trying them, as it's probably best if I don't eat so much brown rice either.

Ah, you're one of the people who it helps so! What's your skin type, out of interest?

                        • Hmm... I guess I'm not having straight alcohol, but a shot of tequila bloated me last weekend. I usually have a little beer and mixed drinks. I don't have wine often, but i don't think it bothers me as much. Yeast used to be an issue for me, but I don't think it is anymore. Not sure!

I'm taking 800 mg of mag citrate now (started with 600, but it didn't seem like enough). I think I played "catch up" on the weekend (lots of trips to the bathroom, nothing unpleasant, but DAMN there was a lot), things have slowed down since. The last time I tried it, I only took it at bedtime and it didn't work (and then epsom salts were TOO effective). My stomach feels a lot better and I'm less bloated than when I was using inositol, Threelac, and colostrum (thinking I was feeding the bacteria too much). If I need to get things moving, I'll probably go with a small amount of epsom salts (in juice because that shit tastes foul) and then re-hydrate like a mofo.

Very lucky! Other types of oil (I tried oil cleansing for a while) made me much worse, though o_o I suppose I'm more often dry than oily? I don't think I'm predominately one way or the other.

Beer could be an issue for multiple reasons as well as mixed drinks depending on the mixer. For instance, alcohol mixed with soda: no problem. Alcohol mixed with some cheap margarita mix: hell no.

Hmm, the fact that you went so much at once could also contribute to a slow down (this has happened to me). It also helps if you drink a good amount of water with it. Keep playing around with it, as well as paying attention to what foods constipate you. I have never consumed epsom salts orally. Sounds delicious...

I'm sure you're a smart cookie though and would've done that any way. Aloe is not a morning supplement at all.
