6:25 pm: low-key day. Did some shopping and cooking after work. Purchased new T-Shirts at Large and Medium sizes. Medium is a little snug yet, but the large fits well. Used to wear XXL of this same T-Shirt brand not that long ago, in fact I was wearing that size today which is why I purchased new ones, it's hanging on me and has gotten too big in the collar area especially. I'm just really relieved to see the scale start moving again. I have hope that I might make it to 150 by my wedding.

3:30 pm: woke up before alarm, steady energy levels all day, good mood, and calm. Watched "The Future of Food," a free online documentary. It's scary out there in the world of seeds. I just get more and more glad I no longer eat grain... and more and more mad that people will harm others for money.

Woke up without alarm. Low-key, easy day. Steady energy, good mood. Think I'm doing well on more meals and smaller protein sizes. Trying to keep protein at 2-3 oz per meal. I'm also really enjoying eating more veggies, trying for 3 cups per day. Today is an exception to what I've just said, as I didn't follow this very well... need to grocery shop, am out of salad and didn't feel like steaming broccoli today. I'm really not motivated to exercise though, perhaps it's the heat, because it's not fatigue. Watched a video on Prancercise... think I might have to give that a shot. ;-)

So much good info in "Primal Body, Primal Mind"... I just keep learning and learning. It's great.

Forgot to take Lexapro, stressing a bit over tattoo design - and just very aware that I still have too big of a stomach despite all this weight loss, turned to fudge at night to relieve some tension.

Falling a bit behind on posting, so catch-up time:
                Yesterday:
Breakfast: Carl's Jr Hardee's made-from-scratch bacon, egg & cheese biscuit, hash rounds, & small coke
                Snack around 5pm: Pluot
Supper: Large salad w/dressing, bacon-wrapped asparagus, sauteed mushrooms, and 3 oz Ribeye with fat
                Water: 60 oz.

Notes: Weird day, relaxed yet unmotivated. Got my first tattoo, took a good chunk out of the afternoon. Just bummed around all evening

Today: Didn't sleep well, tattoo hurt and kept waking up
                Breakfast: Pluot
2nd Breakfast: Jack in the Box Steak and Potato burrito, hashbrowns, 4 mini churros, and small coke
Snack: 1/2 cup watermelon and a pluot
Supper: Salad w/ dressing, 2 oz steak, 1/2 baked potato with butter
                Water: 40 oz

Notes: Not motivated, arm bothering me quite a bit. Tired, took a 3 hour nap w/meditation. Went grocery shopping again today and did a little cooking. Water intake too low and obviously eating fast food breakfast two days in a row isn't so great. Not going to bother with conversions today, may update them later.

                    • Been stressed out all week and eating like crap. I weigh 164.4 this morning, so a 5 lb gain from last Saturday. I'm sure it will go away quickly once I get back on track. Going dress shopping and am not excited at all about it, I am just nowhere near the weight I wanted to be at this time. I've heard bride-to-be's lose a bunch of weight before their weddings due to stress, I am obviously the exception. All I want to do is eat, eat, eat. Hopefully I like my dress and I look all right in it, perhaps that will settle my nerves a bit.

                      • Been gone awhile and working to get back to 100% Primal eating. Still haven't learned how to handle stress without turning to junk food. I'm passed the first stressful event of the summer and am now on to the second one... a visit home. Over the last few weeks I gained back 12 lbs... crazy how easily it piles back on. I'm not focusing on that though, just making a goal to lose 10 lbs by August 1st - and to make it through July eating at least 90% Paleo... more would be ideal. I just don't trust that I'm in that head space yet. Anyway, it's good to be back... it's amazingly important to keep journal writing and reading up on Paleo, it's so much easier to fall back on old habits when I don't keep myself connected to this new way of life.
