By 27, I get less tolerant of stupid.

            • Your culinary adventure a few days back reminded me of this.

Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham - YouTube

Dr. Seuss was a genius (and a San Diego resident).

And, yes, we love all ethnicities here especially when they come with a good excuse for a party. Green beer for the Irish on St Patty's, tequila for the Mexicans today.

Fun video. I read the Dr. Seuss books right after the Ant and Bee books. I thought the library was such a magical place. Think about how different the world was - at eight years old, I was allowed to go alone to the library and my parents didn't worry that I'd become a victim of human trafficking. And that was on Long Island, so it wasn't like we were in some super safe country location. Oh well, the times they are a changin'.

LOL - Gwamma, Richard Simmons was recently a guest on General Hospital (a soap opera). He played himself except totally crazy. He's a good sport. But he's getting a bit long in the tooth for those short shorts. (Aren't we all?)

Yeah... I saw a clip of him is what was supposed to be *I think* a serious interview. Crazy as a Betsy-bug! With that special Richard Simmons flair of course...

*It was kind of hard to tell. He kept going completely off the reservation. Answering questions with totally random stuff. Serious near to tear one moment then up singing and dancing the next... the hostess acted like she was just as confused as the audience.

I think sometimes in real life (or maybe even here also) people think that about me. First impression: ditsy. Next: hmm... kinda dark. Next: laughs at weird shit. Conclusion: crazy as a shit house rat.

I spent a lot of my childhood in the library. I would take out whatever the upper limit on the number of books was and then return them within a day or two. The librarian couldn't believe I had really read them all. But I had.

I also remember sitting at those tables which seemed so big at that age. It was so quiet and peaceful. Unlike my home where drama ensued over things as minor as a broken egg yolk.

                              Love you back.

                              Smoochies to you, G.

As to one shot, I think I've met a few folks who will get two or three. They may come back as cockroaches if there's any justice in the hereafter.
