  • Primal Journal (Cynthia)

    I have been primal on and off for several months. It is time to take the plunge and commit 100%. I just have to get the mindset that all that "food" that is so easily available is poison - not food. I do believe I have a sugar addiction...I have not measured myself but I weigh 135 and an 66.5" tall.

    Day 1:

    Exercise: hiked trails one hour with dogs (snow); .5 mi treadmill, 25 lunges; .5 treadmill, 25 air squats; .5 mi treadmill, 25 Burpees; .5 treadmill (total 2 miles on treadmill)

    Brunch: spinach/tomato/boiled egg/balsamic vinegar salad, small bowl primal chili
    Snack: approx 30 almonds
    Dinner: primal pizza with cauliflower crust, Greek yogurt
    Coffee with creamer
    Evening: apple, hot tea with one teaspoon honey

    Bed at 9 pm

        B: spinach/tomato/boiled egg with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, 5oz Greek yogurt
        L: lobster tail wrapped in bacon
        D: 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties
        Snack: almonds

          Day 3:

          No exercise except hiking the dogs one hour on trails and if you count cleaning house before work
          B: green smoothie (spinach, celery, blueberries, apple and flax seed)
          L: spinach, tomato, boiled egg, chicken breast
          Snack: orange and Greek yogurt
          D: meatballs in marinara sauce on spaghetti squash
          Black tea with honey

          Bed by 9...early day tomorrow
