I do some independent lifting on the weekends when I feel like we haven't been doing enough of a particular lift or lifts at crossfit. So sometimes I'll bench press, do sidebends (hold a kettlebell in one hand and bend your torso towards that side that's holding the kettlebell), and do push press or lunges on a weekend day. Lifts are usually no more than 30 minutes.
