    I'm still watching and rooting for you too, Tee. How do you feel after 2 months free of the sugar monster? What kind of results have you noticed?

      Thanks marthat, I greatly appreciate it.
      I feel very good and do not crave sugar at all. I have lost about 35 lbs. and about 4 inches around the waist.
      I also have limited my alcohol consumption to around five times since I begun the journal.

                    Congratulations Tee! I really enjoyed reading your journal and rooting for you. Isn't it amazing how one day follows the next. I once gave up sugar for 9 years. Not a bite. I was a vegan at the time. I still don't each sugar very often after learning that I can go years without it. I do still have artificial sweeteners occasionally. That will be my struggle or challenge, depending on how I choose to view it.

                      Thank you calee, I greatly appreciate it. I write this for myself to help me say away from a bad habit, but it feels real good knowing others are reading it and maybe getting something out of it.

                        • I am with you in the sugar struggle, it is tough one. I have been nearly sugar free for 5-6 weeks, except for my morning coffee...don't plan to give that up. Still a huge accomplishment for this sweet tooth of mine!
