  • Here I go!!

    Well, here I go...


    Been watching this website for a long time, and knowing what I should do, and only doing it 60% of the time.
    I am 6 weeks shy of my 40th birthday and I am tired of punishing myself for what I dont do..

    Start weight: 182lbs
    Target Weight: 140 lbs
    Age : 39 (just)
    Fav Primal Foods: All of them, just love them!
    Weakest Indulgence: Red Wine, chocolate .. and the occasional cigarette :-( .. that HAS to stop..
    Im gonna miss (for a while) .. milky tea.. morning scone at work .. potatoes..
    Im NOT gonna miss: The weight, the self-nagging, the lack of self esteem, the knowledge I could be so much better..

    I want to be one of those before and after sucess stories :-) they truly are inspirational!!

    Good luck.

    Make sure you take your measurements first - they are likely to change real fast once you start giving yourself decent nutrition and losing fat.

            Good luck! You know it will be well worth it!!

            I started primal last wk as well. But my start weight is your target weight and your start weight is my target weight. Wanna swap?

                    Well, Day 1 over and god I am a big fat cheater in my big fat cheating pants!
                    Well, Breakkie was eggs and bacon, that was easy.
                    Replaced my milky tea with ginger tea (grated ginger root with hot water ) sweetened woith agave
                    Dinner was Jamie Olivers warm red onion salad... (I LOVE it)
                    Tea was brocolli salad with chicken legs.
                    Two handful of nuts and about 4 squares of dark chocolate, and a bannana..
                    My god, I ate so much!!
                    What is it about me the moment I say 'can't' thats ALL I want? Tsck.
                    On the upside, had a good swim, and glorious day here so got a walk in at lunchtime.
                    As I keep saying to myself, its a lifestyle change, keep at it until it becomes the way you live, and dont stress the small stuff.
                    Glued to the TV, hope they're OK in NY.. now THAT is something to worry about.. everything else is juat stuff..

                        That's not very much food at all, and the only cheat I see is agave. You're off to a great start!
