    Grounding I'm fairly new at so....??? Don't really know.

    Tapping has helped with a whole bunch of things in my life. Patience, temper, focus, understanding, bitchitis (yes, men get it too) etc etc.

    I like to do a bunch of positive things like the mind movies, the Secret etc. It has paid off for me.

      Weigh day, lost some but little discouraged at the amount. Oh well. Been really busy this last week and stressed out. Need to do some meditation to try and alieviate it. Uncle passed away about a month ago and the fight over the estate begins. My mother was right, where there is a will, there is a relative.

          Sorry but we were on the Ideal Protein and would lose that in a week, easy. Actually up to 8 lbs in a week.

            ...And why aren't you on that diet still? Did you gain weight back? Was it not sustainable? I'm not asking to be rude. I think if you take the long-term, sustainable health approach of primal you'll be much more successful than if you focus on solely short-term weight loss.

              It was good, easy, worked etc. But.........way too expensive.

              I know I'm working on long term, just most people, myself included, want to lose as fast as you can.

                Bad day. Didn't even bother tracking what I ate. Trying out different sites to use that people recommended in another post.

                Wife has offer in on farm, so we spent the weekend cleaning out the barn of basically junk. Had a good supper, Paleo for the wife and I, but celebrated the barn done with a bottle of red wine, a no no. Kids did a good job so we bought a cake for them for after supper, and yes.....I had..........2 pieces with milk, a no no. So I didn't do well at all. May have lifted many heavy things but blew it after.

                Monday morning, I'm back to being strict. No cake, no milk, no red wine(damn the wine was good). Cake although loved it in my mouth, made me feel sick to my stomach after eating it. I take it that is a good sign.

                I also bought Ketostix (spelling) and although I've been really low in my carb intake, it shows I'm just moderate? Maybe it takes longer than a couple of weeks?

                Oh well...have a great week anyone that reads this.

                  Think I ate too much today. Was not going to eat lunch as I had a great breaky but wife came home from bus run and wanted to go out for lunch, so......happy wife, happy (fatter) life.

                  Started using the PaleoTracker site for food. Good site but don't see anything for exercise on it, which is a bummer.

                  Calories Budget; 2000
                  Calories consumed; 1712
                  Deficit; -288
                  Fat; 62%
                  Protein; 26%
                  Carbs; 12%

                  First day on this that it didn't tell me I was "strict" paleo ????

                  Did say I'm sugar, legume, grain and dairy free. Was a warning though that I consumed too many omega-6 fatty acids....? Would that be eggs? bacon? Avocado?

                  Had a glass of white wine with wife for supper as well, another no no

                  Did not nor have not been moving (walks) or any work outs, need to work on that this week.

                      Have not posted in a bit.

                      Started doing a fasting, daily. Eating one meal a day, supper. This was my 4th day. Not going bad, each day better than before.

                      Today;

                      9 hours sleep (grounded)

                      Calories aloted; 2000
                      Calories consumed; 928 55.57%fat, 4.9% carbs, 39.53 % Protein
                      Calories burnt; 400
                      Deficit; 1472

                      Walked an hour in Cold, did Bowflex exercises for about 15 minutes.

                      Going to swim in the cold quarry tomorrow. Give blood on Saturday to help save a life maybe.

                        Can not say I'm very happy this morning.

                        Fasted (ate only one meal a day), everyday was a loss on the scale for 4 days. Yesterday, went out for breakfast so it stopped the one meal/day, but ate Primal, meat/eggs. Went out last nite for Sushi. Think that maybe the problem, still in my system this morning? Was 191 yesterday morning. 195.8 this morning. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

                        Up and down like a damn yo- yo. Back to where I was 2 weeks ago. ???? Ate nothing but Primal all week (except last nite) and fasting daily?????

                        Went for 1 hour walk yesterday in the cold, with sprints. Swam 20 minutes in Quarry in 48 degree water. Think that would have shed some pounds?????

                        Off this morning to give blood. Screw it...I"m eating their cookies!!!!!

                          Wow what an eye opener.

                          Went and gave blood, (yea) me!!!!! They have cookies for you after and I'm a cookie freak. Ate 1/2 dozen homemade really great tasting cookies. Could not believe how hungry I got!!!!!! Fasted for 4 days, (justing ate suppers) and didn't get hungry all day. Eat some sugar, flour and makes you soooooooooooooo hungry!!!!!!! Lasted the whole day. Went to a poker game, came home and starving. Ate a bunch of toast with Peanut Butter and jam with milk. Stuff I haven't had in months! God I feel like crap today.

                            Well, I don't think anyone reads my journal. I guesss I'm not exciting enough or something. Any who...I hope someone does. Getting depressed.

                            Holy weigh scales Batman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                            Lost just over a pound this week, but added .5 of an inch on my belly???????? Not actually happy with the weight loss either. Went to eating just one meal a day well over a week ago. Then this last week I fasted for a full 54 hours. That in itself should be more than a pound. I'm still not doing something right I don't think and I need to lose this blubber.

                            Have not cheated at all, except yesterday. Tore the whole bathroom apart, redoing it. Put a pot of chili on in slow cooker and had two bowls last nite. No bread with it either, just the chili. But.....that would not account for much just over nite? Also had 3 low carb beers last nite (deserved it).

                                Stop fasting if it is not working for you. Depriving your body of calories will let it store the weight or add weight because your body thinks it's a famine. Eat more and you will probably loose weight again. (count calories for just a couple of days, try to stay at the amount your body needs to keep alive without moving, should be somewhere between 1500 and 2000)
