    Day 8:

    B: Back to the same (love it) Bacon, c.cheese, omelet

    L: 1/2 sausage, salad, homemade mayo

    D: 3/4 Chicken Breast w/ butter & spices, salad, sauteed onions

    No snacks!!!

    1 hr walk
    Start Weight: 63.6kg/140lbs
    Goal Weight: 54kg/118lbs

      Just thought I would share my day's food:

      Breakfast... pulled pork with 2 fried eggs

      Lunch.... I actually forget, LOL

      Dinner..... Taco seasoned stew meet with its own juices, over a bed of greens with homemade salsa, and bit of yogurt,

      Snacks.... some paleo pumpkin cookies ( 2 ) and a coffee with cream.... no sugar.... I decided to give up coffee.... I can't stand it w/o flavored creamers, LOL.

      I hope you are doing OK with weight loss if that is what you want.... I had an AWESOME 1st week. I lost 12 or 13 pounds!

      Starting weight 285ish ( scale is acting funny so I don't trust it, but 285 is close )
      CW - 271 pounds
      First Goal - 255 by 2013
      Main Goal - To be healthy for my family... I have an awesome family.
      Other Goal - to get off some medications
      Final goal - to get to about 180 pounds by 2014
      NEW GOAL - When I can start a new journal called "Your dad is not so fat!"

          @PP wow! 13 lbs loss is excellent! I'm having a really hard time losing the weight, so I'm upping the exercise this month.

          There's no way I could without my cup of tea. The lack of sleep and lack of tea made me feel awful.

          I love cooking, but I'm cutting the fat - so it doesn't taste as good! I defo cannot have pumpkin cookies or anything like that coz my blood sugar will skyrocket. Maybe later.... I'm planning to eat something good for Thanksgiving. (I'm already dreaming of a treat on Thanksgiving. How sad is that?)

            Day 9:

            B: Omelet, bacon

            L: 1/4 chicken breast, piece of gouda, piece dark chocolate

            D: Kebabs w/ grilled brie, peppers, chicken, mushroom, onion

            I went to the gym today!! It felt great! I was worried about Kai (my 4 month old) but there was one person looking after him and I could see the daycare from the gym. He just slept the whole hr! I can't wait to go again!

            I also went for a walk for 40 mins.

            Dinner was so good. I ate sooo much that my stomach hurt. Oh dear.

                Day 10:

                B: Same as usual, bacon, omelet, c.cheese

                L/S: Piece dark chocolate, gouda, 3 almonds

                D: Leftover grilled chicken/veg

                I did some weights at the gym for the first time ever. Not sure if I did them right. I went on the machines coz I didn't really know what to do with the free weights. I have been looking it up, so I will do free weights next time.

                I did 3 sets of 10. The weights were heavy enough to fatigue my muscles, but I don't feel the burn. I think I need to push myself a little harder. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

                    Didn't eat properly today coz was too busy to go shopping, so no food in the house & too exhausted to get something & cook it.

                    I did a spinning class that really kicked my a*s. I'm seriously unfit.

                        I didn't go to the gym today and dinner was quite fatty. My muscles are really sore from the last 3 days and I'm exhausted from lack of sleep. BUT I gotta keep going coz I will feel better in the end.

                        Thanksgiving is on Monday, do I'm a bit nervous that I over indulge -OR worse I don't indulge in dessert and I still gain weight! (I have a feeling this might happen)

                        I just discovered Evernote to keep all my recipes saved and I'm loving it!

                            D: Leftover Coconut Salmon Soup

                            I have lots of salmon leftover, so I think I'll be eating it tomorrow too. It's a bit boring, but soooo tasty!

                                Are you breastfeeding? Some people will hold onto 5-10lbs until baby weans. I have been breastfeeding or pregnant since Aug 2007. Only now, as baby #2 is self weaning and down to nursing once every few days, have I started to lose weight more easily. One thing is to be sure you are eatin enough. It sounds backwards I'm sure, but it's been important for me. You should not be starving between meals. When I don't eat enough I start gaining weight.

                                You can do it, it will just take some time. Focus on eating whole foods to satiety and your body will handle the rest. If you can, stay off the scale. It seems to be making you overthink everything. Isn't part of whole 30 staying off the scale too?
