        • Thanks again for the positive vibes. Yes I'm very happy and relieved. Sort of like a dark and difficult part of my life is behind me. Other good things are happening too! Middlest son is moving back to CT to attend law school. We offered to let him stay in the apartment above the garage for a rent that he can afford and he jumped at it! So that's good. Trainer Cliff will train two people for the price of one, so he can accompany me to the gym if he wants.

            • Had my weigh-in today, no change in weight, but I'm on the last hole in my lifting belt, so things are moving in the right direction! The Warrior Dash is in a month, so we are stepping up the running (pun intended). I tend to heel strike too much, so we are working on my stride more than running long distances. Just as well, in this heat and humidity it would be brutal. Most sessions we do 1/10 mile, 5 times. Working my way up to 1/4 mile, 4 times.

              The race is a 5K with obstacles peppered throughout. So there won't be tons of running. I'm fine with the obstacles, it's the running I have issues with. But I'm making great strides (again, pun intended).
