        • Roasted cauliflower is one of my faves! Funny I never knew how good it is. Depending on the seasoning, it can taste very different and can taste like other things. Like with smoked paprika and turmeric it tastes (and looks) very much like breaded fried clams. Of course it is good just any way you make it. Cauliflower just takes to roasting.

            • Shredded the chicken. Threw bones and skin back in slow cooker with juice, limes, garlic, and more water. Set on low for 12 hours. Getting ready to roast cauliflower.

Well what I thought was cauliflower was lettuce that needed to be pitched. So I've got carrots roasting instead.

                  • My cauliflower turned out to be Broccoli... Which I steamed. Was a nice accompaniment for the bacon! SWMBO can't stand the smell of bacon (grounds for divorce, I know) so I only cook it when she's away on business. Like now! :-)

I hope you are cooking a lot of bacon then. It refreezes nicely and then can be microwaved to reheat.

Somewhere in the bowels of the MDA journals I'm sure you have explained what SWMBO stands for....... but could you humor me and say it again please???? I'm thinking up all kinds of possible meanings..........

                            • Slept poorly - maybe 5 hours. Chicken broth still going on low. Leftovers tonight. Clinic today - hope I've got a student. Packed spinach, carrots, and chicken for lunch. I'm not liking my new scale much - my old one must have been really off. Something I'm eating is making my GERD flare last couple of nights. Nothing is consistent, must be stuff related to each other. I can tell today is going to be a long day because I'm tired already.
