      • Tonight I put it in the slow cooker about 90 minutes before the pork was done. I've sautéed it with onions, garlic and either a squeeze of lemon or some vinegar also - it's kind of a cross between spinach and greens in taste. A bit sturdier than spinach.

        • well, since I'm on a zero carb diet right now I won't be giving it a try - but will certainly keep it in mind for future testing.

          • Kale is the best. I liked kale even when I didn't like veg. Used to put it in soup. Why haven't I done that lately? Must get on that!

            • Awake at 0400 - DS left to open at work and then DH got up at 0430 to go to work. Gave up trying to sleep and turned on the light at 0445. Only 6 hours of sleep deep>light . I'm tired, but have clinic today, so no nap. Packed a salad with all kinds of veggies, black olive, chicken, sour cream, and salsa for lunch. Need to add some avocado. Dinner will be the salmon, spinach, and cauliflower mash. I will watch the finals of The Voice and then crash from exhaustion. Laundry while watching tv, so I can pack Wednesday.

                • Local turned me down last August. I'm learning to try and have a down day or part of day when I travel. It helps. El Paso Thursday night to Monday night.

                  • Well, at least this one is short I think the down time is a great idea! Makes it easier if you don't have to be on the go and rushing the entire time you're there.

                    • Slept about 6 hours light>deep. Getting ready to go for dental cleaning. Will run a couple of errands. Hope to get into my office later. Dinner out with my parents tonight. Going to The Outback. Ate terribly last night, but back on track today.

                        • About 2 hours sleep . Having coffee, waiting for DH to get up so I can pack. Hope to get a nap in after I pack. Don't have to leave for the airport until 3.

                          • bummer. Same here. I tried a bit of soy sauce on my plain pan fried chicken breast. That didn't work. Belly ache and nausea all night. Hope you can get some rest.

                            • At airport from 330-830 today. First plane had a fuel leak, so they had to find us another plane. Finally got settled into hotel room at 2339 my time. Still functioning on 2 hours sleep. Having a glass of wine - I'm sure I will crash!

                              • Slept 6+ hours deep>light and no waking up during the night. Woke up 2 minutes before the alarm was due to go off. Got everything I needed to do done today and what I could for the next 3 days also. Getting ready to go back to the hotel and get ready for a steak dinner.
