  • Home from clinic - not too bad today. House smells fantastic! Baking some sweet potatoes and cooked up some spinach to go with.

    • Slept okay. Scale is getting put away. Lazy day today. Cool (50-60) and rainy off and on. Plan on doing freezer inventory and some paperwork today. May take the girls for a walk, or hula, or shovelglove - too early to decide.

      • My scales are out of commission too. I took the battery out and put it in the kitchen junk drawer - so its a LONG ways away from the scale. It makes me ANGRY too!

        • Really lazy day. Dinner: onion browned in butter, leftover spinach and fresh ham, and eggs mixed with green chili, Greek yogurt, and cheese baked in oven for 30 minutes. Easy and tasty. I agree with Siobhan that eggs make everything taste better!

              Trust me, for me that is lazy! I ended up doing 3 loads laundry, some paperwork, changing out last semesters books for next, cooking dinner, and getting tomorrows dinner in the slow cooker in the fridge ready to pop in and cook while I'm at clinic tomorrow. I have so much more that needs to get done. I'm out of town 5/3-19, so feeling the crunch!

              • Slept about 7 restless hours. Having a hard time getting going this morning. Have clinic, no students, and MD is getting caught up on charting - so I see all patients. Hoping its not too busy. Chili is in slow cooker for tonight. Need to finish laundry when I get home.

                  • Slept 7 hours fairly good sleep. Home alone with the girls. Did some quick throwing away and putting out for trash collector - DH can't stand to throw anything away (broken shredder, non-approved foods). Was going to go to grocery store today - will think about it. Do have an afternoon spa appointment for facial, mani, pedi. Need to grade some student papers. Got my final paper grade - "B" which gives me an A- in the class. So 2 As and an A- for the semester, not bad considering all the emotional drama that occurred! I see the surgeon Monday, so will have something to report that evening.

                    • Slept great over 8 hours. Was very bad yesterday - hamburger with bun and pizza. Hopefully that is done. I had god food just waiting to be heated up, but just couldn't be bothered. There are days I need Paleo food delivery! Need to get to the store today. Some minor cleaning and another paper to mark.

                        • Chicken was very good and easy. Next time I will do wings and slow cook 3-4 hours.

                          • Went to bed early. Slept poorly about 6 hours. Up, dogs fed, drinking coffee, getting caught up. Have appt with surgeon today - will let you know.
