  • No word today, so it will be Monday before I know anything - fingers crossed that its then and not later. We leave Friday to go to SA for a friends wedding. We will be there Friday-Monday. I'm looking forward to it.

    • Seems this is the week to do yucky things! I slept almost 8 hours of relatively good sleep - that's a good thing. Started working on the taxes today - the yucky thing. I'm almost done organizing and I swear I'm going to do better this year with keeping up with this. I've put eggs, cream cheese and butter out to come to room temperature to make the mini cheesecakes Primal Bites: Cheesecake Chatter, Part 2: Mini-Cheesecakes with Almond Crust and carrot cake http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fvbpX8jERG...rot%2BCake.jpg
      for tomorrow. Started carrots marinating in maple syrup. I've boiled eggs for deviled eggs. Menu will be breakfast of apple cider donuts Apple Cider Paleo Donuts and bacon. Snack while waiting for son to get off work will be chili con queso. Dinner is ham, asparagus, fresh green beans with bacon and potatoes, deviled eggs, the rolls I trialed earlier this week, and the mentioned desserts. I also hope to complete another peer feedback for school.

              • The apple cider donuts were delish and went well with crispy bacon and coffee. I've managed to get the peer feedback done, so its off my calendar. I don't have to start on the rest of dinner until 1130. May try to get another homework assignment done before cooking or not......

                    • It's true, I do exercise. The weird thing is that I have never enjoyed exercise until I started doing only things I enjoy and are fun for me. I don't think of it as exercise really.

                      Still, I waste a lot of time.

                      • Ham was good - don't think you can mess it up, green beans, roasted asparagus and deviled eggs all tasty. Got the other bit of homework done and turned in. Took a 20 minute power nap.

                        • Slept about 71/2 hours mostly good. Today is gloomy and overcast - kind of fits my mood. I need to work on stats again - still - it seems endless! It's the open book (thankfully) final of 8 questions. I just need to get working on them. I'm seeing the end to the semester. I turned in the draft for peer review that is the last project in one class, the proposal for peer commet that is the final project in another and have 2 practice problems in stats due tomorrow and the final due next Tuesday. I really don't want to do anything today, but I'm supposed to work the clinic tomorrow - don't want to do that either - see I'm in a gloomy funk (maybe my winter blues finally hit!). Okay leftover donuts (I'm going to split in half, butter, and toast) with coffee and then I'm getting moving.

                            • Got an email from MDA and there is NO evidence of cancer on the MRI and the only thing abnormal with my blood work is an elevated monocyte count, which in isolation means nothing. It could be caused by stress (do you think I've been under any?) or a virus. They referred me to my PCP (don't have one) so I've asked to speak to the doc.
