  • Slept 71/2 hours. Didn't want to get up. Have phone interviews for DNP students this evening. I'm not going to clinic tomorrow. Will miss the money, but am exhausted. Getting closer to MRI Friday - probably some of the source of exhaustion. I'm hoping to do flat iron steak with spinach salad tonight. Want to try a paleo roll recipe I found.     • Spinach, blue cheese, avacado, cherry tomato, red onion, sunflower seeds, and flank steak salad for dinner. I had balsamic vinegar on mine, DH couldn't give up his beloved ranch. The rolls have the same mouth feel as gluten rolls - DH couldn't tell the difference. I will make for Easter and also make and freeze some in hamburger roll shape/size.

      • Slept 71/2 hours of okay sleep. I'm having coffee and paleo gingerbread donut pieces (they fell apart) while catching up. Have committed to finishing SPSS stats homework and turning it in today. Will make Texas hash for dinner - leftover flat iron steak, cubed, green chili, onion, and potato all browned in bacon fat then scrambled with eggs. Easy and yummy. Will have to get up at 0500 tomorrow, to leave by 0545 to make my appointments in time. I need to make sure I don't have to be fasting, so I can have my coffee. I'm increasingly nervous about tomorrow.

                        • Home from the torture! Blood work and CXR easy, MRI semi kneeling breasts through two holes resting on elbows and forehead - now don't move or breathe deeply for 45 minutes! Spoke to radiologist afterwards and as a professional courtesy she will read films today, so hopefully I get results tonight. I will believe it when I see it! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, I'm sure that's the only thing that enabled me to stay still for the whole thing!

                              • You would be proud of me. Everyone was great until I hit the RN for MRI. She started to ask me personal questions with the door open - so I asked her to close it, she wanted to reuse the same vein in my anticubital that they drew blood from (1 quick completely painless stick). I told her no, so she looked at my wrist - I told her no joint areas and pointed out two she could pick from - she wasn't happy! Everyone else was fantastic. My DH got up at 0500 and we drove both cars in, so he could sit with me during the whole mess, then went to work when I left to go home. This was the first day in the last 4 he could have slept past 0500 due to training.
