            • Slept a fair 8 hours. Windy, gloomy, and 60s today. Got a major chunk of stats done yesterday. Just need to hear back from instructor on two queries to finish up. Then have 8 more calculation/interpretation problems left to do. Today I need to work on a paper and review and provide feedback to another one. I'm putting a whole chicken in the slow cooker with lemon and garlic. Will have roasted carrots, radish, and broccoli as sides. Hope to organize freezer, plan out some meals, make a grocery list, and shop today. Need to balance the checkbook and pay bills, too. Looks like a full day, but got up early (for me! ), so am taking some down time for coffee and catching up.

              • Got paper done and submitted. Gave peer feedback on a paper. Balanced the checkbook and paid bills. Heard back from instructor, so will tackle finishing that problem and start the others later this week. I rescheduled freezer, meal planning, freezer, and shopping for Monday. Have chicken and roasted veggies in the works and an putting together an eggplant lasagna to cook, cool, and reheat for dinner tomorrow. I've used up a big chunk of the veggies I got yesterday!

                • Dinner was good. Fried ripe plantains in butter with a sprinkle of coconut sugar and cinnamon. They were fantastic. Got them two weeks ago in the basket and they were way green. Took this long for them to get ripe. DH scarfed his down!

                  • Slept an okay 6 hours, up, showered, coffe drank, load 1 of 2 of laundry in the machine, dinner just needs heating up. I put out a flank steak to marinate, probably cook tomorrow and slice to put on a salad. Going to work on some homework, have a phone conference this afternoon, and some odds and ends to finish up.

                    • Turned in another paper. eggplant lasagna was very good - will do again for sure. Will probably fry some bananas again tonight.

                          • Slept 71/2 hours mostly good. Down to new weight low today. I'm like Tomi, "inching my way down the scale." Staying home from clinic today. Just couldn't face going in - my doc is a peach. Will have a lazy day, probably run some errands later. Sliced flank steak for dinner. Sides depend on if I go to store.

                                Tonight I fried a banana in butter and then added some whipping cream to the pan. It was Excellent!!!
