  • So was going by what dad told me on the walking. Mom says she was using a walker, had oxygen, and PT helping her.

    • Slept great. First day of Lent, so today is meatless. I'm going to make a veggie frittata with some salmon in it. I don't care for salmon as its too fishy tasting, but think it will work well in the frittata as long as I don't put too much in. Will add some cream cheese for richness, peppers, poblanos, mushroom and will broil some asparagus to serve alongside.

      • Made frittata as described with about 4 oz salmon and some goat cheese. It was good. Only about 1/3 left after the boys got done. Beer chicken in the crockpot tomorrow. Got homework done. Mom gaining strength. They are now thinking this weekend for discharge.

        • Slept okay....dog woke me up at 5 throwing up. She still is not feeling better. Getting ready to go to clinic. Son #1 and DiL get in today. Put beer chicken in slow cooker - it's got to be the easiest recipe ever (chicken, can tomato past, bottle of beer, jar of sliced green olives) will be ready when I get home. Will make mashed cauliflower to go with.

          • DiL and son got in okay. Clinic was slow. I returned my loaner and got my car back. Chicken was great as usual. Tomorrow we are doing a Chinese buffet. They have a lot of boiled seafood, so that will be the majority of my dinner. Hope to sleep well. Everyone is going to see mom tomorrow.

            • Slept 7 hours - aiming for 8+. Getting ready to go visit mom. Massage this afternoon. Dinner out with family tonight.

                • Dinner was good. Dad and a family friend went too. Visited or a bit. Went to bunko - too much wine...... Slept great. Glad today is a lazy day!

                  • Mom is slowly getting stronger. Monday is the new target day for discharge. IFd until dinner. Snacked for dinner. Getting ready to go to bed. Hoping for a solid 8 hours.

                    • Slept almost 8 hours. Weight staying steady. I will track and stay consistently LCHF this next week. I plan on trying to do some LHT later this week. I guess considering I'm at the hospital all day, maintaining is good. I really would like to be down 15 before the first weekend in April. We are going to a friends wedding and I'd like to look good!
