  • Hoping someone comes up with something for this question! I have to teach a 10 minute lesson for one of my classes on anything. I'm wanting to demo something that the class can do also. So few steps, inexpensive materials, easy. Ideas, please?????

        • I've met goals today, but went over calories getting enough fat. I was hungry to tonight for some reason. Finally tamed the "dragon" with some almond butter. Tomorrow Rob Wolf's crock pot stew. More organizing, pay bills, then relax at the spa.

          • Drinking coffee with HWC and getting caught up. Taking it easy until this afternoon, when I'm starting with my reward and finishing this evening with the organizing and bill paying. Raining here which makes me gloomy. Dark purple on ketone stick - not that I needed to do it - I've got "tin" mouth. Slight headache. Will be walking in the house today to get in 5000+ steps.

            • Ate well, slept 8+, QT 5+, no alcohol, didn't get in steps today. I've got a bit of a sore throat and my asthma is acting up. Had to take my inhalers - cold with rain is not good. Haven't used nebulizer yet, but probably will before I go to sleep.

                • I travel again this Friday. First I go to San Francisco (invited expert panel on obesity - I represent childhood - I know seems bizarre since I'm overweight! ). I'm there Friday (dinner meeting), Saturday (breakfast and lunch with meeting) dinner on my own, and Sunday I fly to Work city. I'm pretty confident that I can eat okay in SF - seafood = yummy! It's the 10 days in work city that worry me. I'm going to try and stay as low carb as possible (within the constraints of what is available) and I plan on trying to up my daily steps. Still worried. Not even sure if I'm down as I've not weighed yet. Tuesday is D-Day!

                  • I'm really loving BP coffee. I have one cup in the morning and one with HWC until I use up what I have and then it will be BP for both cups. Do you think it would be weird to take CO with me on trip and make BP coffee? Clinic today and the next 4 days. Hope it's not too bad. I'm supposed to go to a CME dinner tomorrow at a steakhouse, but I'm not sure I will go. My asthma is being difficult and I'm thinking rest is better than socializing. Hope the clinic isn't too bad - doc is out the 4 days I'm covering.

                    • Clinic was crazy busy. I had leftover eggplant with leftover spaghetti sauce for lunch. Just had leftover moussaka and a glass of red wine for dinner. Beginning to wonder if I pissed everyone off somehow - I've been talking to myself for a while! oh well, this is for me, but miss the support.

                      • Hey gal, still reading! Your eats have sounded rather lovely of late.

                        So you're liking the BP coffee? I tried it a few times when it popped up on the boards, it actually tastes quite nice and creamy with butter & coconut oil, but I decided at the time I didn't need it on a regular basis. Might try it again one of these days, but currently I'm considering cutting back the coffee for more tea. I think the coffee in the morning is just a comfort habit, and since taking it black, I think tea could be a good alternative, since that's what I have at work all day.

                        • I only have coffee in the AM. It's tea or water after that. I think the BP coffee really keeps me "full" until lunch.

                          • Makes sense if it's working for you, and I see you are on the HFLC plan at the moment. I find that many days I'm good until lunch to eat anyway, so the extra in coffee isn't necessary for me. And if I do need something in the morning, I'd prefer eating it and having the coffee (or tea) black.

                            • Some mornings I want brunch of bacon and eggs or an omlet, but when I'm in a hurry the BP hits the spot!

                              • It's funny, I used to be so addicted to coffee and now I only drink it occasionally. I wish I had known about BP coffee then, it would have been great for me. Of course I wish I'd known about the whole primal thing back then!
