      DS#4 was home for the weekend. I made three steaks one night. I got to eat 2/3 of one (which was more meat than I normally eat in one sitting). It did take him two meals to polish off all the rest, admittedly. Two consecutive meals...

      • So fish is not a good choice for dinner with salad. Not enough fat - I've been nibbling here and there all night. Staying primal, but this is so different from yesterday where I was satisfied.

        • Slept well (seem to be on a roll). Catching up, drinking the usual. Getting ready to start my day. I've rescheduled all school work until after our anniversary trip. It seems wisest since I just can't get into it right now. So today I'm trying to do some mandatory training for work - but so far it's not posted where its supposed to be - tres frustrating! I've got my national board meeting that I'm secretary for. I'm watching DWTS tonight. I need to bake a pecan pie as a thank you to the electrician friend of my dads who has been doing some work for free around the house. The pie, homemade spiced nuts, and two bottles of wine will be waiting for him when he comes tomorrow. I'm going to throw some sweet potatoes in the crock pot, bake some Paleo sesame crackers (recipe in Well Fed), and figure out how to use up some more potatoes (5 huge bakers and 5# organic russets came in the box Saturday). Hamburgers san buns for dinner. Note to self, hide leftovers from DS! If I get a burst of energy, then the cranberry relish will get made. I had to borrow my moms food processor as my big one finally died after 29 years! Okay enough stalling........

            • Add a creamy dessert to your fish and salad combo. Coconut cream if you are avoiding dairy. Or some coconut oil concoction. Or nuts. Always a way to balance these things out.

                  • Clinic was slow, home after 1/2 day. Crisped up the Paleo mock corn muffins for stuffing. Made spicy cranberry relish. Made more muffins and crisped them too. Boiled a dozen eggs to devil on Thursday. Set out ingredients to thaw for tomorrow. Tomorrow I bake!

                    • Chicken was good. I had mashed sweet potatoes. DH had cauliflower rice. Tomorrow chipotle meatballs with zucchini noodles for me.

                      • Up can't sleep. Threw up violently. So I've identified a pattern -> gluten = no sleep and tummy issues. Maybe tonight I finally got thru my hard head! it was unpleasant enough, you would think the lesson would be learned........

                            • well - that lightbulb moment will serve you well in the future! Just remember gluten = barfing. That should be enough to keep you away from it!

                              • Trying a Paleo ginger cake. Pecan pies for the others. Paleo sesame crackers. Kale dip. Batter for Brazilian cheese bread. Everything is made. Just need to bake and cool crackers. Cool cake and frost with coconut butter frosting. Once crackers are done, I'm putting up my feet and having chipotle meatballs with zucchini noodles and a glass of wine! Happy Thanksgiving, safe travel, peaceful family gatherings, and 80% pure eating to all!
