  • Slept 6 1/2 hours, 3 1/4 deep, asleep in 16 minutes, awake x 4 (thank you S2 & GF) for 2 hours. Packed and ready to roll. Two empty suitcases (1 inside the other) to pack more office stuff and a small carry on with my stuff. Will check both going and move all liquids to one of the big ones that will be checked coming back and the carry on will be carried on. Purse will be packed on the way back, as my briefcase will be my second carry on. Will check in later.

      I am so envious of all those with cruise plans. I will get there, probably when I am around the same age you guys are now In the meantime I shall live it through you guys

      • Hope you have a good trip I'm not sure, but the last post sounds like you're "moving home". Must be a good feeling.

        • Moving my office from one city to another! Packed up all my diplomas and PNP pics. Have another suitcase to pack tomorrow before class. Down to stuff on my desk, some stuff on my bookshelf, and some odds and ends. Waiting for time to walk over for dinner.

          • Salad, ribeye, baked potato, Malbec for dinner. Back at hotel and hit the sack by 830 (930 my regular time zone). Talked to my Procter and found out which conference room I will take my exam in. Spent several hours studying in that room. Feeling moderately better about exam.

            • Slept 8 1/4 hours, asleep in 16 minutes, 3 1/2 deep, 2 wake ups. Getting ready to get in shower. Eat a big breakfast. Then off to office. Will pack up second suitcase before teaching class. Student presentations from 12-8!

                  • Ended up changing class on the fly. The morning instructor also had them Friday night and they were beat down. It's a class of strong personalities (I know about 3/4 of the class from either having taught them for their masters, worked with them, or thru the local professional group) and to see them that beat up was hard. We did some group stuff and got out a bit early so they could get some rest before Sunday class.

                    Dinner in the hotel. I was bad - nachos and Chardonnay. Interestingly I'm still in ketosis. Go figure.

                      Getting ready to get moving: shower, pack, breakfast, load car, gas, drop off checked bags, return car, TSA, gate, fly home.
                      Hope to get home in a reasonable amount of time and get some laundry done after unpacking. Need to set out chicken thighs for Monday dinner.

                      • Home. Usual doggy happy dance. Unpacking just what I need tonight. I will finish tomorrow and do laundry then too. I dislike travel in the summer - too many families who do not control their kids. Back of seat kicked for almost 2 hours today while a toddler shrieked across the aisle.

                          • Wise advise AT. Started with a sore throat and headache last night. Slept poorly - 9 1/2 hours, 1 3/4 deep , 7 1/2 light, asleep in 42 minutes, awake x4 for 1 1/4 hours. Still have scratchy throat and feel blah.

                            Will do what must be done and postpone the rest. I'm sure I will take a nap this afternoon. Crispy chicken thighs for dinner tonight.

                            • Feel cruddy. Unpacked. Made arrangements for my lecture tomorrow to be covered. Waiting until time to order CSA box and then going back to bed. DS4 will cook dinner.
