  • Your probably right JudyCr, but it will have to wait for a bit. We've had a treadmill before and I rarely used it. I never seemed to have the time with young kids.

    Worked on note cards for about 3 hours. Still overwhelmed.

    • Eats today:
      Coffee x 2 fixed usual way
      2 eggs scrambled with red onion, leftover roast, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese
      Guac (1/2 a large avacado) with some potato chips fried in avacado oil
      Mixed fruit salad
      Dinner pending - some rib meat, square of paleo cake
      1 large decaf tea so far + another large glass decaf tea.

      • Got word that my proctor isn't available 7/18. My core comp is now scheduled 8/4. I chose to believe this is an answer to prayer. I've now got 2 extra weeks to study.

        • Slept 8 1/4 hours, 4 1/2 deep, asleep in 11 minutes, awake 3 times for 39 minutes. Feel pretty good. Thighs are sore from yesterday. Abs feel tighter. Will weigh in a bit.

          More study cards in my future today. Dinner will finally be the beef, broccoli, cashew stir fry. Need to hard boil some eggs for scotch eggs tomorrow.

            • Thinned out lecture materials to what I have to study. Dropped the stack from about 6 inches to 3.

              Eats so far:
              2 cups coffee usual way
              6 strips bacon
              Rib meat and about a cup of cole slaw.
              Need to make a decaf iced tea!

                  • Snacking on frozen blueberries. They are some of the organic ones I got earlier this year and froze. A good summer treat.

                    • I'm happy to report that I seem to have survived my meltdown yesterday. Still stressed, but more in control with a plan.

                      Hard boiled eggs done and in fridge for dinner of scotch eggs paired with a salad tomorrow.

                        • 6 1/4 hours sleep, 2 3/4 deep, asleep in 11 minutes, woke up 4 times for 40 minutes. Feel very tired Still.

                          Weight has not budged. Don't know where to go from here, what to try?

                          Think I'm going back to bed after I feed dogs. Lack of sleep and lack of weight loss have put me in a funk.

                            • About an hour studying. Car packed with some stuff for office. Scotch eggs ready to go in oven. Frittata for tomorrow in oven. Showered and hair air drying. Final Grades entered and end of course report submitted for the 3 courses I taught at old university last 7 weeks. Just need to make a salad and some eggplant slices for dinner while scotch eggs are cooking.

                              I've IFd except for coffee today. Will break fast with dinner.

                              • Did re-weigh myself after morning nap. Am within 0.3 pounds of dropping into the lower weight range. May weigh tomorrow.
