    • Slept 8 1/2 hours, 4 deep, asleep in 11 minutes, no wake ups!!

      Dinner was tasty. Made Brazilian cheese bread and salad to go with. Only one small serving of lasagna left. Tonight roast beast (it's cow, but sometimes Whoville is a nice place to visit), potatoes for the boys, yam for me. More salad. Need to use some avocados up, so may make some guac.

      Would like to get my new articles read and organized today. Request any additional ones. Also need to read 3 chapters of research and prepare next weeks lectures. Add to the last two test blueprints, too.

          • Oh, what a beauty!!

            Hey, did u like the sauerkraut you ordered ?? I made paleo buns early this morning, put applegate hot dogs in them for lunch, sauerkraut and mustard on top, little cheese and olives, really delish! DH ate 3!!! But, he'd played in a tennis tourney, kept winning, kept playing, for about 5 hrs straight. (I just had one because I'd been floating around in the pool, reading Stephen King's Mr. Mercedes all morning.)

                Yes, finally tried it with sausages. Ordering more. Thanks for the suggestion.

                • Did some reading, but basically had a recharge day. Dinner was tasty. DH is doing dishes as I type. Enough roast left over to make Texas hash for dinner tomorrow.

                      In its purest form leftover meat, sautéed onion and potatoe scrambled with eggs. Sometimes I add green chilies or bell pepper. Simple and everyone loves it. My grandma Felicia used to make it when my mom was growing up in west Texas.

                          • First things first - got my essay comp grades back and I PASSED!! Now have multiple choice core comps on 7/18 to pass in order to hurdle into PhD candidate status.

                            Slept a smidge over 9 hours, 4 hours and a smidgen deep, asleep in 11 minutes, woke up once.

                            Today I'm going to tackle part of my office. Hope to mine the reference lists of new articles for more articles. Tonight will work on lectures.
