      • Had dinner with two of my classmates. Cream of mushroom soup, pork loin with an apple glaze, carrots, brocolini, and scalloped potato - all gluten free. Have 1/2 of main plate boxed for lunch tomorrow with a bowl of butternut squash soup. Can't relax to sleep. Worried about presentation. Going to go thru it again after I hit post!

        • Slept poorly. Up, having coffee, then jumping in the shower. It did snow overnight. From the window, main streets look okay, but will watch for ice. Send positive thoughts for presentation this afternoon.

          • Drink plenty of water, makes you happy, do deep breathing on the way, best of luck. You can do this...easily.

                      • Dinner last night was with the group and teacher (this is the last time we will all be together). We went to the Chef's Table. I had a lovely mixed green salad with cucumber, tomato, and shaved parmesan with a red wine vinaigrette. Dinner was pork belly (freaked out the rest of the group - its soooo fatty!), fennel, and roasted potatoes. I had a chocolate, hazelnut creme brle for desert. It was very yummy. I have 1/2 left over for lunch today. Everyone else finished their entire plate and their entire desert. I ate about 1/2 of each. The good thing about fat is it is very filling!

                        • Today, I woke up with a bit of a sinus headache. Drinking some coffee and will take something in a bit - can't on an empty stomach. No snow today. Will need to watch for ice. School wise, today is an easy day. We are reviewing and getting stuff in order. No presentations, nothing graded. Have to meet with teacher today at lunch. Dinner tonight will be something easy at the hotel. Pack tonight and off to airport early in the morning.

                          • Continue with headache. I hope I am not getting sick, because Friday DH and I are going to Sting/Paul Simon concert with friends.

                              • Sting's music got me through undergrad nursing degree

                                Hope you feel better soon. Heading your way on Saturday. If you're interested and available for a meetup, maybe in Houston, let me know, we can pm details. Have no set schedule for the week, and have a rental car. If it works out, just look for the gal with the blue arm cast...
