            • Slept 7+ hours deep>light. Drinking coffee. A bit more and I'm going to put chili in slowcooker. Rearranged reading so I don't have any unil Saturday. Tomorrow shower day, leftovers. Friday is my appt with PS.

I've got to start reading, so I can do papers. My classes started the day of my surgery. I'm getting progressively more and more behind. This stresses me!

              • Easy morning of sitting on my butt watching TV. Good lunch. Almost 3 hour nap. Did call PS office because I started bleeding from same place again. They will fix Friday.

                      • Very bad sleep night last night. Started bleeding again - if I could figure out what starts it I wouldn't do it (spent the day sitting, so very confused). Slept with a cold gel pack and still spotted up a nightgown. Sitting drinking coffee, using a gel pack (yes, bleeding again/still). Waiting for big dog to arrive to spend the night. Will shower and do laundry (garment and nightgowns) later. I'm thinking of doing after DH gets home, so I can go to bed and get a good nights sleep afterward. Used 1 1/2 T3 last night. Took 1/2 this morning. I'm trying to not use them, but I get crabby from the nagging pain. I do need something to get comfortable at night, so will talk to PS tomorrow. Okay, maybe I woke up on the grumpy side of the bed today.

Leftovers for dinner. Nothing planned for day other than shower/laundry. Hoping we can get bleeding stopped tomorrow. I've got state NP conference next Wednesday thru Sunday. I'd like not to bleed thru my clothes. . Luckily it's about an hour up the road. Mom is taking me and DH is picking me up. I will attend what I can and rest when I need to. It's practice for going to school in two weeks.

                        • Lazed around all morning. Nap (about 2+ hours). Showered and washed hair after DH got home. Washing nightgowns and garment. Getting ready to scavenge some dinner. Eats today have been Greek yogurt and a vanilla protein shake with blueberries.

                          • Seriously, take the T3. You had major surgery, you have post op pain, tolerance/dependence is not an issue. Despite all you do, you are not superwoman, nor should you be. No heroes required. As for the bleeding, you know it happens sometimes, I had the same after my knee meniscectomy, and ended up needing an extra week off work from what was expected. Shit happens. Take it easy, medicate prn, and recovery happens. Sometimes just takes a little longer than we think it will.

But you know all of this...

                            • But so easy to second guess myself. Okay will ask for more T3 tomorrow and will stop trying to tough it out. Thanks Greensprout. It helps hearing from another nurse.
